No shade... it does seem like she may have over-hyped a bit, BUT... Kelly's work is amazing and has already proven its import not only to Janet fans, but to her legendary collaborators (Jimmy Jam). The fact that she uses her position in media to promote and support not just Janet, but the her whole organization is awesome. In a time where social media culture is always so obsessed with what's in and of the moment, Kelly is working hard to preserve the legacy that Janet built so that it's not forgotten. Was just listening to her interview with dancer Mike Andrews whom we lost earlier this year(RIP) Very thankful for her. Looking forward to whatever she posts next.

She interviewed Teresa Espinosa, the Velvet Rope Tour swing dancer! It's apparently the first in a Velvet Rope 20th series.

Tinashe is incredible!!! I wish she had better access lanes, b/c she's got all the talent in the world. Just overshadowed by some other folks, unfortunately.

So ANYWAY... There's a tv special coming up on AXS TV...

So much to celebrate though. Janet's new music and documentary are on the way, and she's absolutely killing the game on a near sell-out tour. The Rock And Roll Hall of Fame will come crying to her soon enough after the outcry from this year. I believe it. Hoping Sister Rosetta Tharpe and Rufus/ Chaka Khan get in this year, so I will be supporting them. But the games and dumbness need to end.

They absolutely don't, but attention does matter. Overwhelming fan and popular support may help to sway ballot voters. I know it's a factor in the Grammy voting process.

Such a great album. Recently I've been loving Dream Maker/ Euphoria, and I'll play it against Michael's song Euphoria. So pretty... it's like a technicolor dream.

Janet SHOULD win (she should've went in on her 1st ballot), but we all know the racism and sexism is strong in the Rock Hall voting membership. All I'm saying is we fans better vote our asses off.

The QUEEN... of course they did, and thank you chef for helping keep our Queen looking EPIC. And Dammn this video is a 222k views and counting (compared to an avg 30-40k from other recent posts) so it's a working. Me thinks that new stuff will drop soon.

Her interviews with Jimmy and past members of Janet's organization have not disappointed, so here's hoping!!

I don't know what Janet's opinion of the pizza was, but I could listen to her say "Pizza delivery" all day. So cute!!!!

There's not much to email until he's confirmed as the act, IMO. But as a member of The Recording Academy, I've written several times to Neil Portnow and even some of the Governors calling on them to issue an apology to Janet. I've yet to receive a response.
