Plenty of honourable mentions this year, namely Floetry, Norah Jones, Ms. Dynamite, Ladytron, Clipse, Maroon 5, Nelly, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Moby, The Roots, Sugababes, and TLC.

Also another tough vote for me. Coming very close were N*E*R*D, Eminem (his best album IMO), Missy Elliott, and Avril Lavigne. But I can't go past Coldplay. AROBTTH is the disc that catapulted them into the big league only two albums into their career. One of the finest records I've ever heard.
