cnd Posted December 20, 2011 Share Posted December 20, 2011 MTV confirms Punk'd revival with Ashton Kutcher as co-producer MTV confirmed it is bringing back Punk'd, the hit show about unsuspecting celebrities getting pranked, after a four-year hiatus. Ashton Kutcher, who developed the show and served as host during its first run from 2003 to 2007, will return as co-producer but won't be hosting the revived series due to his current gig on Two and a Half Men. Instead, different celebrities are expected to organise practical jokes against their peers. Production reportedly began on the revived show in August, with teen singer Justin Bieber planning a joke on an unsuspecting Taylor Swift. He use to upload some pranks videos on a "Funny or not" website that became popular, and that's when they were talking about getting him to host it. And now they already filmed him "punking" Slaylor for the show. They'll probably wait to see how that episode goes, which will most likely do good because it's Slaylor, to confirm him as the host.
