LyricalLesson
I'm gonna do this audition for a vocal competition tomorrow morning, and I have to figure out songs to sing for it. I want something different than the songs that I usually use for auditioning...it'd be cool if y'all just threw out some song titles for me, it would definitely ease my mind a bit
ThatOtherFan
What songs do you usually use for auditions? That'll help me with suggestions. lol
TwistedElegance™
'Just a Thought' by Gnarls Barkley (I know you're a fan). That has great vocal intensity, only the subject matter is very bleak. But it might make a statement.

LyricalLesson
This song's actually not bad...! I'm surprised because I'm not into this new wave of boybands. But that song is actually pretty good!
Selz
Why not Miguel? You're always hollering about him
xu1993
Go with song that people know, but add your own spin. Nothing to modern, just an updated "classic" pop or R&B. Stevie Wonder = These Three Words, Superstition, Ribbon in the Sky Lauren Hill = Can't Take My Eyes Off of You (her version) Maroon 5 = Sunday Morning Christina A = Voice Within
