  1. His facial expressions and body language and the way he delivers some of his lines seem, to me, to be distinctly in Nicki Minaj territory. #NoShade
  2. For some reason, I like this guy and I love the way he throws shade (articulately and with class).

  4. I'm mad at y'all. http://bslade.bandcamp.com/album/dance-floor-arsonist-the-jack5on-magic-mixtape
  5. There's more: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXK2xFp6TBg&feature=player_embedded He kinda reminds me of Nicki Minaj. #NoShade
  6. Right. There was no rape. I agree with that. But there WAS sex. That's what Eddie doesn't want to get out.
  7. But they weren't ever banking on the law. They were banking, quite literally, on the fact that Eddie Long doesn't want any evidence whatsoever to surface that will prove he's been having sex with men. Mediation is not public. A trial would have been.
  8. Wednesday, December 8, 2010 Carnal Knowledge Slick Willy in full effect. Remember how Eddie Long got up in front of his church and vowed that he would be vindicated not only in the court of Jesus, but also in the court of law? Well, he's changed his mind. He's opted for mediation instead--like most guilty parties do. It's a crafty move on his part as the proceedings of mediations are not for public consumption. Therefore, we'll never get to hear the seedy details of Long exploits with these young men, and neither will the parishioners of his church. So, he'll be able to go on feigning heterosexuality and castigating homosexuals without appearing to be the liar that he is. Because you know part oand parcel with any settlement these boys receive will be a gag order. In any event, Anderson Cooper, of CNN's AC360, covers the story in the video below. http://sonofbaldwin.blogspot.com/2010/12/carnal-knowledge.html
  9. Okay, I can't think of ten, but I can think of a few that I liked: "Deuces" by Chris Brown "Say Something" by Drake Holdin' You Down" by Jazmine Sullivan "Bittersweet" by Fantasia "Make Me" by Janet Jackson
  10. Yeah, I saw it coming by the way he was looking at her after he walked her to her door on the first date. Plus, he was a man in a Tyler Perry film, so I knew he had to be evil.
  11. I can't think of 10 songs I liked this year. When was "Make Me" released? And I hated pretty much everything on the radio, especially "Pretty Boy Swag" by Soulja Boy.
  12. Isn't that creepy that some of Jermaine and Randy's kids are both half-brothers and sisters AND first cousins at the same time?
  13. http://www.sohh.com/2010/06/drake_woud_rather_be_an_mc_instead_of_si.html "I could never really take singing on the road the way I can take rapping on the road. I can't get on stage and blow people away with my range and vocals. I'm a studio singer because I can convey emotion and I have unique melodies, so that's kind of what I pride myself on, but that's where it stops. I make music more for people to listen to rather than to hold me as an R&B artist. Not to wish that I couldn't sing better. If I could sing like Trey [songz] then yeah, I'd definitely just want to be a singer. If I could do anything, trust me, I wish I could just sit at the piano and sing." (VIBE)
  14. Just tell me where Janet is. That's all I really care about.
  15. Does anyone know where I can find the short video teaser that Janet released to BET back in 1993 to promote her upcoming "That's the Way Loves Goes" video? In the video, Janet is off camera, but she's narrating the video as she introduces each of "the Kids." At one part she says, "This is Jennifer, Shawn and Nikki: three backed-up hoes." Does anyone know what I'm talking about? If so, is this teaser somewhere on the web?
  16. Yes! When I was 17, I did what people told me. Uh.
  17. I'm so glad you said this because I feel the same way. I think Drake's singing voice is very melodic. Although, he, himself, admitted that he is very much a studio singer, not a live singer and that his recorded vocal prowess is the result of technology. However, I don't know if I can think of another rapper whose voice I find as annoying and nasal and tone-deaf as Drake's. Only, maybe Li'l Mama, but that's it.
  18. I know, right???? I HATE when vloggers make videos over five minutes. Unless you're talking about how to cure diseases or end world hunger, there's no reason for an 18-minute YouTube video.
