  3. Who do you think was the better singer? Whitney at her peak or Mariah at her peak?
  4. Tickets were sold out even before I knew about the tour. I would have definitely gone to the Brooklyn date.
  5. There was also a time when selling 37,000 would place you at #400 on the Billboard charts.
  6. Mariah actually talked about this before: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7Bg2uKBrQgs
  7. Also, being able to actually sing is the new not being able to actually sing. That is, until Britney comes back. The world LOVES a white-trash bad mother with problems and marginal talent. #Noshade
  8. How could it be that you know me? My deepest fears, my fantasies? Confide in you what no one knows. But it feels so real.
  9. the Republicants caved in because actual soldiers and the higher ranks spoke up and said "who gives a shit"... it's not about sending the gays to get killed... like they're gonna put them on the front line or something.. like a fat white man is grinning saying "Send John Doe in first.. he's gay" given Gays can freely serve in this country's military doesn't mean that they're gonna all come out the closet and form a parade.. then be discriminated against.. spreading of equality in the armed forces of this fair nation is what's important... The positive aspect of it, if there is one, is that once gays are afforded these kinds of rights in the military, it usually means that other civil rights are not far behind. But yeah, I have to say that I believe it was easier for Republicans to get behind this than, say, gay marriage, because of the reasons I stated previously.
  10. Believe it or not, I think Xternal has a point. My feeling is that the Republicans and other homophobes gave gays the right to serve openly in the military because it involves, in some cases, sending people off to die. Homophobes have no real problem with letting some gay person go off to war and risk their lives. The real test is whether they're going to allow gay folks to get married if they want to. In short: "Gay death: good. Gay love: bad."
  11. I don't believe in outing someone unless that person is a vocal homophobe publicly. Like Eddie Long.
  12. How must people feel that this: is outselling them left and right?
  13. See what happens when you fuck with the Illuminati? Did Soundz wake up to discover he couldn’t move? Did they blow some zombie dust in his face? Did spiders magically appear to be crawling all over his body? I bind you, Soundz. I bind you to prevent you from doing harm to others and harm to yourself. : )
  14. iJanet, I need you to find me some photos of Omarion's booty. Like a lot of them, please.
  15. "In protest there must NEVER be any compromise. In politics there is ALWAYS compromise” - Bayard Rustin
  16. Shawn, I'm already getting e-mails and comments from haters trying to take this victory away from Obama and he hasn't even signed the bill into law yet. No matter what Obama does, someone's going to say, "Magical Negro! Why didn't you do it the way I wanted you to do it???"
  17. Janet Jackson - When Janet Jackson came out... people ignored all the others * Paula Abdul.. now stuck judging other mediocre singers/dancers * The other Jacksons.. i know u can't name em all w/o Google.. so why bother... Just Google "Janet Jackson" and click thru 6,910,000 results.. one or two of em should mention the careers of her siblings.. * Jody Watley, Jennifer Lopez, Pebbles, Nia Peeples, Jasmine Guy
  18. I didn't know that Gil would fight a bitch. #WatchOutForTheBigGirls

  20. George Lopez didn't help her reality at all by calling her a "global superstar." #Noshade
  21. I like it. It kills me how they never get the choreography right, though.
