A few years ago Jagged Edge performed their hit "Promise" which is my favorite song from them and at the end they covered a bit of Queen Janet's "Come Back To Me"

Just A Little While was in the top 5 of all major radio station playlists and it was on it's way to hitting no.1 or the top 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 until she got banned. Janet wasn't selling less and less. AFY album was on it's way to 10 million plus before Virgin stopped the promotion for Mariah and ended up getting what they deserved. Come On Get Up was gonna be the next single and it was already been played on radio stations til Virgin became idiots. Anyway Damita Jo would've definitely sold if Janet wasn't dumb enough to no tour right after the Superbowl like everybody else smh.

an album doesn't have to fly off the shelves in America to sell ww but Whitney had no hits on that album period. Janet on the other hand did, she just didn't use them in the beginning so i'm not surprised at TVR selling 10 million. Whitney's album i'm very surprised.

a lot of the movement they did wasn't on their knees. Hell she got on her knees at 40 during the 2006 Billboard awards 2yrs later after the Ryan Seacrest performance so yeah she actually couldn't dropped to her knees.

I love hearing this. There's a few other rock artists/bands who've said they're Janet fans. Especially Dave Navarro of Red Hot Chili Peppers and Jane's Addiction is a huge Janet fan. He and his former girlfriend Carmen Electra used to always stan Janet and go to her shows.

I said what technical work did Janet exhibit? I can do the heel toe movement. Once again Janet's dancers did did all the technical stuff and not her. That's what always annoyed me with that whole routine. She would get lazy and shimmy her hips side to side while the background dancers tore shit up. Watch and tell me when i'm lying and she ain't swaying and shimmying side to side while they put in work.

I'ma gone and agree with you on this. Now if we were to be discussing the DRM vma performance then that's a whole different story. AN(DS) is so fuckin' overrated! I'll never understand the hype for it. No parts of the video or any of the dancing Janet did for that routine had me shook like RWU or AFY.
