  1. fine whatever I’d agree it’s probably in her lower half of single sure.. but I still think it could’ve played way better than it ultimately did.. those harmonies alone bro, smooth as butter, and catchy as hell too.. I liked Closer also so it’s coo.. but as for feedback, I highly (and yes I’m lit af rn) disagree.. FEEDBACK had Hot 100 #1 written ALLLL over it.. it was as close to a perfect dance/pop/radio song that has ever existed.. there are some “hooks” in that track, it’s like it was written to be a HIT with surgical precision...all of that technically speaking.. in terms of how it sounded, it was current and still sounded inventive.. it had an almost European/foreign vibe to the arrangement that was newer and fresh for the US radio.. it doesn’t even sound dated yet.. guaranteed if Rihanna put that song out it would’ve hit the top.. My feelings as to why it didn’t even make the Top 10 is a couple of things.. the video was lowkey divisive, I loved it, but I know of people saying it was too slow or she should’ve danced from the start.. I remember even since TRL always played like one minute of the videos on the countdown that when FB played they’d almost never actually get to the dance part lol.. also, she waited until album release day to perform it when it had already peaked at #19 by then.. of she did only like 2 or 3 tv performances a month leading up to Discipline release then I feel it would’ve pushed FB way higher.. anyway. i just type a shit ton so I’m bouta hit theis bowl ✌?
  2. you stoopid.. RWU is by far NOT her worst single to date.. remember Nothing? Or Whoops Now? Or Call On Me? Or hell even SOAG..? i actually like RWU quite a bit.. and you must remember that right around the same time it was released as a single was the same time that Ne-Yo’s Closer was released also.. both very similar tracks and one became a huge hit while the other never did anything.. I believe if she either wasn’t an older woman at the time, or if she hadn’t been banned from radio for so long by that point that RWU would’ve been another success for her..at least Top 40 as FB had just previously finally gotten her back into the Top 20 (should’ve easily been #1 but wuttyagunado)..
  3. she was also publically willing to work with Mariah years ago... although I’ve always felt that the reason their collab never materialized was because her and Mariah and JD couldn’t come up with a song where Mariah wasn’t going to outshine Janet vocally.. I guess it could be the same with Bruno, but I think Mariah would’ve loooved to outdo janet on a song together, whereas Bruno would potentially be willing to fall back a little more than he normally does so that they both shine equally (considering he’s a fan and loves the shit out of her).
  4. didn’t stop her from working with Mike or Elton or Luther (or Khia...haha)... albeit those collabs were ages ago but still
  5. I think in the original cut of the film, before rewrites and reshoots occurred, Superman was going to be “evil” for much longer than he ended up being in the final film.. if you remember back to BvS when Bruce Wayne had his “knightmare” about the dystopian future with evil Superman ruling everything with the parademons and the human soldiers with the Superman symbol on their arms, I think that was going to come to fruition in the original JL movie.. with the Flash having told Bruce Wayne (from the future) when he woke up that he was “always right about him” and that “Lois Lane is the key” was going to play a larger factor into how JL was actually going to be... but then we got what we got and that’s why I’m hoping for an extended version once it hits Blu-ray
  6. riiight?! There’s a lot missing from what was in the trailers.. before Whedon got hired this was going to be a much different movie I didn’t care much for how they brought Superman back, but definitely one of my favorite scenes in the entire movie is when Superman was fighting the other JL members.. omg when Superman’s eye turned towards Flash running at him in slowmo I was LMAO!

  8. it is all over the place a little.. the villain is lame like I said and some of Barry’s lol lines didn’t land properly.. and yea I’m wondering how they’re going to explain Clark Kent returning, but nowhere in the movie did it confirm he’s indeed back at work at the Daily Planet.. but I liked a lot more about it than what I didn’t like.. and bitch I didn’t send nobody.. actin like I called the Uber for you n shit.. you didn’t like the movie? Oh well shit happens move on now

  10. it’s fun! The movie def has its problems (like most fantasy films these days), but the key thing is that the movie at minimum gets the heroes SPOT ON! I thinks that’s why there’s actually been pretty good word-of-mouth with this movie and the 2nd week drop off was under 60% and the Tuesday before Thanksgiving saw it make a record amount of $$ (in terms of post-premier-weekend intake).. Still I badly want to see an extended edition of this movie, as from just viewing the trailers alone you can already tell that there was so much left on the cutting room floor..
  11. I didn’t really like Bale’s Batman (mostly the way he spoke) but I loved his Bruce Wayne.. Ben Affleck is the closest to actual comic book iterations than any other previous portrayal...but I actually grew up with Michael Keaton as Batman and so he was my fav until Ben came alone, just hoping we get one more Batman movie from Ben but rumors are saying he’s leaving and Jake Gyllenhal is stepping in... sounds interesting to me
  12. I love Batfleck.. best Batman on film to date imo.. and I loved some of the first 30 min of the movie.. especially Wonder Woman’s intro scene where she kicks ass again.. and that opening Batman rooftop scene was right of the comics.. but yea some of the Cyborg stuff felt slower than it should’ve been for sure
  13. Anyways.. whenever some of you folks actually sit ya ass in a seat and take in a screening of JL, come back here and give ur thoughts cuz I’m interested in what you guys have to say when you’ve actually SEEN the movie that’s the topic of discussion in here..
  14. I love it personally.. but I love almost anything does.. he’s one of my favs
  15. you know how to put 2 and 2 together right...? Clark Kent confirmed in the very first Justice League movie ever clearly means Supes is in it as well.. the last 2 seconds of BvS also confirm his return.. superman being in the movie was not a spoiler folks.. if I said HOW he came back then that would be a spoiler.. y’all is tew much on this monday moanin
  16. Superman being in the movie is NOT a spoiler... he was in the trailer.... ughh.. jk jk jk ?
  17. brooo that’s not a spoiler lol.. Henry Cavill has been doing press rounds promoting the movie and Clark Kent is in the trailer! It would be a spoiler if I told you HOW he comes back.....believe me spoilers are a pet peeve of mine and I made sure to not include anything plot specific that wasn’t previously known by the general public.. even in BvS the last 2 seconds already hinted his return ..regardless... go see it and report back ur thoughts.. much better than BvS and Suicide Squad
  18. I don’t get the mixed reviews... the movie was so much fun! Yea the villain was basic and wannabe video game character, and some of the CGI was off.. but they got the important stuff right....the heroes! every hero kills it in this movie.. each character gets their own introduction.. Batfleck continues to be the most “true to comic” batman on screen we’ve ever had, Aquaman wasn’t some 1-dimensional surfer guy that some thought he’d be (I’m excited to see his solo movie next year), cyborg was (surprisingly) fascinating, Superman’s “come back to life” scene was one of the best in the movie, the Flash was given the role of taking in the movie from the audience’s POV (“wow, the batcave!” “I’ve never done battle before” etc) and he was the funniest of the movie (most of his jokes land)... and Wonder Woman was still a gem on screen.. I swear I got lowkey choked up during her intro scene because she basically stops a mass shooting from happening (not a spoiler) and the way she did it was so fucking awesome that it made me want a real WW for real life cuz of the shootings happening as of late.. plus she had a few emotional moments throughout the movie with each JL member and she lived up to her “all about love” motto.. my complaints are that the villain was basic, the CGI was off at times (not all the time tho!), and I wish it was 20 min longer (hoping for an extended Blu-ray release like BvS and Suicide Squad).. I give it a B... highly recommended.. take your kids because it’s really very much a family film
  19. If she had walked past me nekkid n oiled up I woulda straight up nutted in my pants
  20. fuuuh bruh I admit I’m looking forward to ur commentary after ur show more than most on here.. I mean I’ve seen her twice in the last two years alone, although I’d never seen her live before then, but with ur amount of dedication (and free time) to her and not seeing her in the flesh in so long, I think your thoughts on the show should be pretty entertaining.. have you basically memorized the whole show by now from videos or whatever?
