Game Changer: Apple Releases iOS 7

Recommended Posts

Not from what I can see. It looks like it only backs up to the most recent time.

- Connect the iPhone to the computer and launch iTunes

- Select the device from the left-side list, and click on the “Info” tab

- Verify that “Sync Contacts” is checked

- Adjust any specific settings as necessary

- Right-click on the iPhone name in the device list and choose “Back Up”

I'm the forum's Apple Tech support -_- and I love it :asham::wub:

Noo... try this:

Go to settings/icloud on your phone. Make sure you are logged with your apple id.

Contacts should be on, click on it to turn it off and choose keep (even though you show no contacts)

When the process is done go ahead and turn on contacts again, choose merge. All your contacts should show up if you had a previous backup to icloud.

iTunes was being a dick - I spent 3 hours fucking about with that, backed up everything, downloaded 11.1 etc. etc., kept giving me error messages so I had to do it manually - FINALLY got to update to iOS7 and it gives me another bloody error message. I pulled my phone out of the laptop, and the laptop promptly hibernated -_- So I plugged the phone into the electric socket and downloaded it from General Settings. And went to sleep. When I woke up it was done and fine. :) No problems with it, quite like it BUT I don't see why it needed to be changed. It's not really got anything we couldn't have survived without. I hope they don't bring out iOS8 before I upgrade my phone though.
