Bailey
Tina and Amy were not funny tonight, oh well its their last year hosting. I wonder how Oprah feels that her film "Selma" was shown next to no love.....
trackboy
Tina and Amy were not funny tonight, oh well its their last year hosting. I wonder how Oprah feels that her film "Selma" was shown next to no love..... I'm sure she didn't feel any type of way. She's been in the game for a lot of years. She knows how the game works. Also, I didn't get why everyone made a big deal of it being Amy and Tina's last year hosting -- like they couldn't be asked to host again next year or something? jarrylf
um....Oprah's about to play Richard Pryor's abusive hustling madame pimp grandmother and go for her 2nd Oscar win (1st for a film) I highly doubt she's necessarily hurt when in fact this 1 didn't exactly go home empty handed, I mean for Christ's sake it's more recognized than The Butler, and I mean come on, Beloved, Oprah knows what it's like to get NO love for a film or 2. Glad Boyhood swept, that is a special kind of movie, nothing like it before it, and Im sure it'll set a trend for some film makers to try later. Congrats to Julianne, Fargo (YAS), Patricia, The Grand Budapest, American Horror Story:Freak Show (it won 2), How To Train Your Dragon 2, Kevin Spacey, Billy Bob (YAS), and John Legend & Common
Rock & Roll Hall of Game
Oprah isn't phased by this the Golden Globe is the film version of an MTV Music Award
Bailey
Oprah is Oprah as we know, the point isn't about her being phased the point is check the message Hollywood is sending, make a movie about slaves and it wins picture of the year. Make a movie about Blacks in a positive light and it gets no love. That's the message
Reyna ♔
"Boyhood" was nice, but I still preferred for "Theory" or "Imitation" to take it. Big congratulations to Julianne and Eddie.
