She’s been teasing us since the beginning of the summer, but now that fall’s approaching, we’re finally getting the goods. Today (Sep. 3) Janet dropped the title track from her forthcoming album Unbreakable, her first release in seven years. “Unbreakable” is classic Janet — angelic vocals delivered with timeless R&B style. Homegirl has not lost her touch, it seems (but we already knew that).http://www.mtv.com/news/2261563/janet-jackson-unbreakable/ Edited September 4, 2015 by SonofBaldwin

Photo: Vittorio Zunino Celotto/2013 Getty ImagesJanet Jackson unveiled the track list, release date, and titular single from her latest album, Unbreakable, on Thursday. The song (listen below) plays like a pleasantly retro-sounding, long-overdue love letter. To whom? Well, it's hard to listen to the outro and not think she's at least slightly winking at her fans: "Hello / It’s been a while / Lots to talk about / I’m glad you’re still here / I hope you enjoy." But Unbreakable, song and album, like much of Janet's prior material, will likely work on various levels. "Themes [of Unbreakable] will include, Janet's views on where we stand today as individuals and as the inter-related elements of a planet. Some of these relate to her convictions passionately expressed in Rhythm Nation 1814, including the need to bring things out in the open and to have a dialogue," notes a statement on her website. "The album also will mark the first time Janet Jackson has opened up about her brother Michael and with reflections concerning her youth." The record, Janet's first studio album in seven years, drops October 2. Glad to have you back, Miss J.

BlackCat77
I really like how her voice has been sounding. Her vocals are great and harmonies from her are always amazing. The sound itself is cool too. Very motown
The Sacred Prostitute
MTV should really have the balls to repay Janet for what they did to her back in 2004 and air a special showcasing the tour and a couple of videos once she has 2 more under her belt from the new album. Maybe when she releases "Burn it Up" with Missy. They should bring back the fervor of an event like they did in the past with her tours when they opened or when they would world premier her videos. Come on MTV....would it really hurt you much to do the right thing and do something special for an artist that contributed so much to your viewing audience and school these younger children how much of a blueprint Janet laid out for the lessors? Come through MTV!!!!!!
