Escapade
If you could would you take back Janet Superbowl Performance?
moonlight
Yes. Not the performance itself per-se, but the Justin portion of it.
Disco Diva
Yes it's not even worth it. It was a great performance but it all got overshadowed and now it's a mockery, Janet could def do without.
eli's_rhythm
I don't understand why someone would vote "no" (aside from trolling, since this is an obvious question). It didn't do anything good for her. It's not like her career was on a major downturn; AFY may not have sold as much as her other albums, but it still sold a shitload, and only off the back of 3 hits. Damita Jo would've been a hit if it weren't for this, for various reasons, and I suspect that the albums that followed would have been completely different from 20 Y.O. and/or Discipline. It's sort of useless to dwell on it, though. It's seven years ago now. Despite what happened, I'm proud to see Janet still trucking. She looks amazing, her (small) tour is selling out everywhere, and she's riding a wave of media goodwill. I don't think she'll ever be hugely relevant or musically current again, but I think she can find her footing as a successful adult pop/R&B star and really overcome the super bowl. janetDAYZ
ABSOLUTELY with no question. It brought Janets bright star waaaaay down. I hate everything about the aftermath that happened to her career.

TwistedEleganceâ„¢
Without question. The butterfly effect from that performance still gets me wound up. It changed everything.
cnd
I most definitely would (just the breast flash not the overall performance).

janet.1814
no, although it was bad....it's still iconic and helped mold her into the woman she is today.... although maybe 20 Y.O wouldn't have happened......

Rock & Roll Hall of Game
I wouldn't say it ruined her career.. It hurt it like a car accident... The music Afterwards hurt it more IMO
