She clearly said she's putting music on the backburner for a second to do her first dream - films. Every time she's asked about music now her response is "This is my first passion, this was my first career. I got my recording contract when I was 14 but I started acting at 10. I'm living out a dream that I've had since I was young. I really didn't want to be in music but I'm not complaining because it's been very good to me.". So I wouldn't get my hopes up since she's far more ecstatic about upcoming movie projects (which she mentioned on 106 and completely ignored talking about music). I think the most we'll get next year is maybe a single or an outtake. But I wouldn't expect an album at all. Janet seems really devoted to films now.

This is one of my all-time favorite performances from Janet As much as the haters love to get on Janet for her declining album/single sales there's just no denying that she can still put on show. IMHO, This is definitely one of her iconic moments.

Love Kim but she's so pressed Why does she keep going off about how her "old shit" will kill Nicki? Where's your new music? Prove to us you still got it!

This is the first review I've read that praised her All the other ones that mentioned her either talked about how she looked like MJ or her resemblance to a porcelain doll Anyway, I know Janet has a lot of potential as an actress she just needs the right material. All these Tyler Perry melodramatic flicks won't make critics nor viewers take her seriously as an actress. I hope she leaves these drama flicks behind and venture out and do action flicks. Seriously, who the fuck wants to see Janet Jackson play a successful magazine editor? I'd rather her play a poor woman or something out of the ordinary.
