Her last two or three albums, Red especially, are admittedly guilty pleasures of mine. Though, no matter how catchy I've found "Shake It Off" to be, it doesn't take away the fact I find it to be crap. I just can't get into this album whatsoever and I found "Frozen" to be one of the most overrated movies and soundtracks ever ("Let It Go" aside).

Though "Frozen" disappointed me to a degree, I still would have preferred it taking the top spot over Taylor. Her album is atrocious.

Indeed. He's pissed me off more than any other journalist this year which is saying something for me since Fox's "journalists" always take the top spots.

I didn't really make a list this year. I did get some gift money, though, so I've been buying things with that. Several books, some perfume, a few clothes, etc.

Funny, lol. Still, she's a Ptolemy so she's definitely white. Anything to the contrary is speculation.

Even if someone took that article seriously, which they shouldn't since about.com isn't an actual history or even scholarly source(neither is the writer of said article), all that says is that it's inconclusive of her having any black relatives. What is confirmed is her white ancestry with many scholars agreeing, and since a question mark, even for up to half of her heritage, doesn't equal confirmation in any direction then you should go with what is already confirmed about her. Therefore, it makes sense to cast her as a white actress. If there is confirmation to the contrary then of course it should be represented. Until then, it's best to stick to the facts at hand.

It's about $2.00 for mine per gallon here in Tennessee, and it only takes about 15 gallons to fill it so $30 or so. My sentra does great with gas so that's fantastic to me. #ThanksObama

Yes, Angelina would be perfect to play her since Cleopatra was WHITE. As I explained in another thread, although she ruled over Egypt she descended from a family of Macedonians/Greeks (The Ptolemies). Thanks to a ton of incest they pretty much kept the royal power within their white family. You can give her a little suntan if you want based on where she lived but the woman was white. If you want a black queen try Hatshepsut, Nefertiti, or the line of Candaces in Kush (Nubia and Ethiopia).

Basically. Is there racism out there? Yes. But is there also a lot of success for people of color? Yes. There is a lot of good accompanying the bad out here, and that needs to be acknowledged just as much. The main thing, and likely only thing, holding Banks back is her horrible attitude. The same goes for others like her.

I love George Takei. He's so awesome. The Last Airbender and Dragonball: Evolution were so freakin' horrible it's unreal. The former pissed me off the most since it was a show I grew up with and loved. I'm not familiar with Akira, but I hope this petition works out. This mess has got to stop.

I loved all of Titus and wish it was renewed. Such a great show. I still watch it from time to time. Yeah, I did like Mulaney and Short, but maybe you're right. I never watched "That '80s Show". Is that bad? I don't get it anymore. Not as of the last few seasons. That was cool to add them, though. Roseanne was/is one of my most loved shows of all time. Still, TBBT has run its course, imo.

I admit, I did see it getting the "Titus" treatment (if you know of Christopher Titus), but I didn't see it getting cancelled this fast. Maybe it was well-deserved because outside of those two, I didn't care for it, but there are other shows that make me feel that way. I guess I feel that it had potential to be great once it found itself. Big Bang, imo, should have been cancelled seasons ago. I loved the idea of a geeky/nerdy comedy show since I can relate to that sort of thing, but then once its popularity skyrocketed it became so full of itself that it lost all of its magic. I roll my eyes whenever I see it on now.

Well I'm a huge fan of him and Short so I found it highly entertaining. It could be improved, though.

They should have gone through with releasing it. If this movie was anything but comedy then there'd be cause for alarm. If you're a target for joking about this then what's next? What an overreaction to nothing.
