Saw the show but skipped through much of it. I felt a little disappointed by NPH, but that's because I had very high expectations after Ellen. Big congratulations to Julianne on her much-deserved win. It's been a long time coming. Even more congratulations to my dear Eddie for his win. I can't say enough how phenomenal he was. I'm so relieved that "Boyhood" didn't get Best Picture. I saw all the nominees, and that film was the weakest of the bunch. "Birdman" wasn't my first choice, but it's a great choice to win. I lived for Patricia Arquette's speech and for Queen Meryl cheering in the audience. That was everything.

Can't he just disappear for, I don't know, ever? He just says and does the most ignorant things much of the time. I don't think a more annoying person exists.

Bobby's pain is reasonable, but if this is true then it's time to let her go. There's no need to prolong her suffering.

I know right?! DIL has grown on me a little when I skip Jay's verse, but Partition and Haunted would have been MUCH better choices. You gotta give the first one a try. It's much more cohesive. It's solid in its whole as an album. LOL! They'd be some serious smart-alecs, too. This actually doesn't sound like a bad idea. Have mercy. That suburb will never be the same.

He and Colbert are both leaving now. I can't take it. I will say this, though, young John Oliver is really growing on me. Never to replace Stewart, but the man is fantastic in his own right. Last Week Tonight has rapidly become one of my favorite programs.

I'm glad she got the awards that she did receive, even though I did side-eye that loss to Pharrell. I guess "Happy" did have that much power, lol. I agree with whomever said it before that this album is perhaps the most deserving of hers for AOTY, but it had to be either Ed or Beck for the win. I'm not really into Beck either, but I can certainly respect his artistry. Ed, though, has been a fave since his debut. I loves me some him.

Yes! I LIVED for Ed's album. It quite easily got the most plays and praise out of me last year. I loved Bey's album A LOT, but Ed's was my hands-down choice for AOTY.
