  1. He's in the wrong area of Tennessee for that. He's in for it.
  2. Alright, so he should be honest and then let her decide.
  3. I'm a little confused about when they slept together. Regardless, the father is in the wrong for cheating, but if it was before the young guy met his girl then I think he should be honest with her if he loves her so much and let her decide where they go from there. If it was after the fact, then he should still be honest then leave. Don't leave her full of questions as to why things won't work out because she'll start blaming herself. As painful as it is, in any case, she deserves the truth.
  4. I don't pay that much attention to her now. All I've really heard from her had a bunch of gibberish and random noises and that was in several songs. So based on that, I can give Iggy a pass on this one incident.
  5. Yeah, she's just as bad with that, if not worse, since she does (or did) this frequently as opposed to this one incident from Iggy. That video is still funny as hell, though.
  6. Hillary's Announcement https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0uY7gLZDmn4
  7. Yes! He's another one I really like. You're right that he'd lose to Hillary, too, but his campaign will be very good for the Democrats once the debates, primaries and everything starts. He'd be a perfect candidate to shift the conversation farther to the left. He won't be able to beat her, but he's got enough gravitas to pull many in the party to agree with him which means Hillary will need to win them over by altering her politics if she wants the strongest support possible.
  8. Jesus be a translator 'cause I couldn't understand a word of that.
  9. I understand. Breaking the status quo a second time right after the first yield every reason to be excited. Oh, I know she can't go full left. She just needs to lean farther left than she did in her last campaign. She played the middle too well last time. It's possible, but like you said, we thought the same thing in '07/'08. Yeah, I can't see Joe getting far even though I really like him. He's not creepy, just crazy and shoots from the hip, lol. I could see that for Elizabeth. She's just been such a strong voice for the left that I'd love to see her getting to do more for the nation. Compromise is good, but only when it doesn't lead to more harm than good. It's good to reason with the other side for the sake of a common goal, but several Republican ideas of the last decade have been borderline or outright insane. Those are the ideas you shut down immediately.
  10. I'd look at this more positively if I hadn't ever read his weird, pseudo-intellectual tweets. That being said, good for him for challenging a norm, I guess.
  11. That's true. Though, to be quite honest, I wouldn't mind some strong competition for her. I like Hillary and it would rock to have a woman in the White House (though not necessarily her), but I'm just not sure she's the best candidate. Not unless she's running on a farther left campaign than the one she had in 07/08. I'll definitely vote for her if there's no-one else on her level to run, but we could use some brighter stars to rise up in the party who can really stand up for true liberal principles instead of compromising on everything or simply letting the Republicans get their way.
  12. Hillary Clinton to Announce Presidential Bid as Early as Sunday Two sources close to the Clinton campaign say former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will announce her candidacy for president of the United States "as early as Sunday." She is expected to make the announcement on social media, with campaign stops planned for next week, including to first-in-the-nation caucus state Iowa. On Friday, Clinton also published a new epilogue to her book "Hard Choices" on The Huffington Post. In the text, she hinted that the birth of her granddaughter Charlotte was a moment that reinforced her future plans. "Becoming a grandmother has made me think deeply about the responsibility we all share as stewards of the world we inherit and will one day pass on. Rather than make me want to slow down, it has spurred me to speed up," she writes. Clinton, who ran unsuccessfully for the Democratic nomination in 2008, now enters the race as the undisputed frontrunner for her party's nod. Only a handful of other Democrats have expressed interest in pursuing a White House bid, including former Maryland Gov. Martin O'Malley, former Virginia Sen. Jim Webb and independent Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont. But none have Clinton's broad name recognition, massive fundraising apparatus and sky-high approval ratings within the party. If she captures the Democratic Party nomination, Clinton will be the first woman in American history to top a general election ticket for a major political party. While Clinton's nascent campaign has been building for months, the run up to her announcement has not been without controversy. Clinton has struggled to explain why she used a personal email account and private server during her tenure at the State Department. The Clinton Foundation, founded by former President Bill Clinton after his eight years in the White House, has acknowledged that it failed to properly disclose donations from foreign governments. And Republicans on Capitol Hill continue to accuse her of a lack of transparency about her response to the 2012 attacks on U.S. facilities in Benghazi, Libya. Still, Clinton remains relatively popular, particularly with Democrats. In a March 2015 NBC/WSJ poll, Clinton got a positive rating from 44 percent of Americans, while 36 percent gave her a negative rating. In the same poll, 86 percent of Democrats said they could see themselves supporting Clinton for the Democratic nomination. — Kristen Welker, Andrea Mitchell and Carrie Dann Source: http://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-press/hillary-clinton-announce-presidential-bid-early-sunday-n338846 _____________________________________________________ How are we, Americans and Non-Americans alike, feeling about this? Like I've said before, I want someone farther left to run, but if that doesn't happen then I'm willing to give Hillary a chance since Elizabeth Warren sort of endorsed her and she'll be better than anything the Republicans have to offer. Even Rand, who's at least 25% sane which is a milestone for his party.
  13. You'd continue scowling at me? Ooh, I'm just so afraid.
  14. I start nothing, but I am good at ending anything. So, take your own advice, love.
  15. What did I say last time about you and that delusion of yours, dearie? Must I collect your scalp for my mantelpiece this time?
  16. No, it isn't. My argument is that what's going on here is the result of total police brutality that was allowed to fester and spread to many groups for years. It's not and hasn't been just a problem for Black men. It's been EVERYONE'S problem. Latinos, for example, aren't at all far behind having their innocents killed by cops. It doesn't stop there. There's a culture of dehumanization here and it includes almost everyone. These aren't "blips" on the radar. There's history here for these just as there is the history here for Black men. I'm not trying to dampen a discussion of this as it pertains to Black men, but to point out that it goes even farther than them and that if we're going to discuss one portion of this issue then there needs to be an open dialogue about it ALL. Just because someone hasn't fought the same battle you have doesn't mean that they aren't at war with the same enemy. Black lives matter because ALL lives matter and it's time people realize that instead of bickering about who's had it worse in this country since many of us have horror stories to share.
  17. Her vocal coach deserves a raise. She has definitely improved and I'm quite impressed. The BGR performance was fabulous. Also, I love this song. It's definitely a step in the right direction for her. I'm liking her a lot this era.
  18. True, but that's the only thing that sucks about it, though. For people who want to do that sort of thing, that is. I don't want to drink since I'm an angel. Was that convincing at all?
