With Zayn leaving, its hard to say how the rest of their tour and their albums will sell

I think Harry is the Ginger one of the group. Meaning he is the focal point of the group as Geri was.

Geri had said that the group got too big too fast. She craved the fame way more than the other girls. Granted, the other girls wanted the fame too, but Geri "needed" it more. Even after she left, she kinda turned looney just to stay in the spotlight. She was the leader in the beginning, but once the girls became global, each member started to gain their confidence as businesswomen/artists and Geri said herself that she felt they didn't need her any more. Zayn wasn't the leader of the group and I don't think he craved the spotlight the way Geri did. Geri still wanted to be in the spotlight and Zayn wants to just go away.
