  7. Yet ANOTHER great review for the album. I'm lovin it... Mariah Carey's Merry Christmas II You really should top everyone's gift list this Holiday season. It's been sixteen years since Carey's beloved Merry Christmas, and still no one can spread holiday cheer as well as she can. Merry Christmas II You isn't just the perfect modern Christmas album, it's one of the year's best pop records. Kicking off with the hand-clap and bell jingle of "Oh Santa!," Carey immediately pulls everyone into her wondrous winter wonderland. Her voice soars on the hook along with a gorgeous chant that's as fun as it is fiery. It's a warm and welcoming new Christmas classic with a little modern swag thrown in alongside the sleigh and reindeer for good measure. Meanwhile, "Christmas Time Is In The Air Again" evokes the classic crooning of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin on all of those legendary Decemberific with the light flourishes of orchestra and lilting piano melodies. Carey's take on "Charlie Brown Christmas" is especially fun as are her powerful renditions of "O Come All Ye Faithful" and "O Little Town of Bethlehem." It's on those staples that her voice truly resounds with a poetic passion that will make you want to sit by the fire with some milk and cookies waiting for Santa. Carey adds a classy elegance to the "Charlie Brown" track that hasn't been matched since Stone Temple Pilots took the song on air in early '90s. "Auld Lang Syne" breaks into a danceable beat that heats up the holidays like never before. Merry Christmas II You is the perfect present this year. You'll be dancing in the snow before you know it… http://www.artistdirect.com/entertainment-news/article/mariah-carey-merry-christmas-ii-you-review-4-5-out-of-5-stars/8167407 B) ---- *sigh* Oh how I wanna see the "Oh Santa!" performances. 10. Only Mariah, Whitney, MJB, and R. Kelly rank higher. Description: With a staggering 15 No. 1 singles on R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, Janet Jackson owns the most toppers on the tally in the past 25 years. Only R. Kelly and Usher, with 11 each, come close to the diva in that span of time. (Even Jackson's superstar older brother Michael trails, with just eight in that span of time.) Between the years of 1985 and 2001, Janet Jackson was an unstoppable force on the charts, landing more top 10s than any other act: 27. Going further, from 1985 through 2004, Jackson amassed 33 consecutive top 40 hits, beginning with the No. 40-peaking "Fast Girls" through the No. 18 hit "I Want You." http://www.billboard.com/column/the-juice/the-top-50-r-b-hip-hop-artists-of-the-past-1004127916.story#/column/the-juice/the-top-50-r-b-hip-hop-artists-of-the-past-1004127916.story?page=5
