Do girls run the world literally? NO.
But anybody with common sense knows that. What I think Beyonce's song is implying is that women are strong, capable and intelligent. Hence, the shout out to female college grads, working mothers and business women. A better title for the song would have "We can run the world", then the hard work implied in the lyrics would have been seen as working towards an ultimate goal yet achieved. Better lyrics would have helped the song period.
I think the young lady in the above video analyzed women's place in society and compared it to the context of the song to show the contrast of pop song idealism, and reality. That was good, but she could have at least given beyonce credit for attempting to highlight the achievements of women through song. Instead she just attacked bey and kinda tried to drag her. There is nothing Feminist about one women attacking the positive efforts of another.
