I'm not impressed by any of the women this season. Mariah was my fav and now she's gone. Raja is a lovely andogynous model, but he does not give me drag queen. drag is about the look, but also about performance art. Raja is not a performer. Shang hasn't mastered the look, but she can perform her ass off. She has already created a character. Evelyn was the one chasing down weak ass suzy all season long, knowing damn well suzy was scared of her. THAT IS A BULLY! When you attack a weaker person you are a bully. She tried to come for Royce last season but Royce stood her ground. She tried it with Tammy, and it turned out to be a mistake.

I actually think he relied on that technique too much. Raymond, Yancy and Basil were developed beyond belief, while a lot of his new characters were under developed. He took a break in the early 2000s, but he came back stong with his books right before he died.

It's good thus far. I always felt that Yancy B was one of the best characters he ever created. this book proves me right. He was also becoming more erotic in his writing as well. i can remember back in the mid 90s when his books only alluded to sex. But this book goes into detail. I miss him. He was really ahead of his time. I remember reading "invisible life" with a home made paper bag book cover so my mama didn't ask what the hell i was reading.
