  1. Yea I was fkn bummed when she bailed on it, but also knew in the back of my mind that the logistics of the whole scheduling around that time didn't really make a ton of sense, regardless if she would've taken a plane or a bus.. it reminded me of when she was scheduled for SNL back in 2008 to promote Discipline.. I firmly believe that if she would've been able to perform Feedback on SNL it would've made the song a top 10 hit! It was damn near peaking around that time at #19, if I remember correctly..
  2. What's interesting is the fact that since she uploaded the video to her official account, the views will now count towards SKB's potential Billlboard stats..
  3. who u talkin to...? Idk if you meant that for me or not, but I was young.. That's all imma say bout that ?
  4. that's what I've been hearing.. I've never really been an X-Men fan, so lo usually catch the movies when they come on tv or HBO or whatever.. Never bought a ticket for any of them, or rented or bought he DVDs.. Anything.. I didn't mind First Class tho.. Actually kinda liked it..
  5. I like that movie.. Wanted to love it, but ended only liking it.. Tom hanks was a great WD, but his accent needed work.. I also wished they had more Disneyland in it, as the trailer made it seem like there was more scenes of Disneyland, but in fact just about all the Disneyland footage was also all in the trailer! Lol.. I wasn't particularly fond of how many flashbacks they did, got boring after a while for me, although I know it was to explain her adult demeanor/behavior.. Lastly, as Disney tends to do, they sugar-coated a ton of the facts.. For example, Travers never liked the finished film (Mary Poppins).. She had vowed to never work with Disney again after seeing the film at the premiere.. So with that in mind, the film wasn't really as historically accurate as it could've/should've been.. overall i give the film a "C" grade.. If I wasn't such a huge Disney fan in the first place, the grade would've been even lower.. still... I bought that shit on bluray the first week it was out! ???
  6. hmmm... I think ya do bruh bruh! ?
  7. did you get that joke from Bo Burnham? His new comedy special just got released on Netflix and it's hilarious and insightful at the same time..
  8. and what a hot ? it is!
  9. naw princess ??... Clearly you don't know what backtracking means.. ? looking at something from a different perspective is not backtracking.. Saying I'll ease up on my feelings is not backtracking.. ? now if I had said I regretted saying what I said... Or if I said I shouldn't have said what I said.. Or if I said I was wrong for feeling and saying what I felt... Then that would be backtracking.. That pretentious video should have not been uploaded at that particular time, end of story.. not much more to it.. ? now get your red shirt and khakis and go stock some shelves or something..
  10. I'm reposting this as it seems to have gotten lost in the other Orlando shooting thread.. all this bullshit about people shouldn't feel emotions, share their feelings with others, people are "backtracking" or whatever has got to stop.. this is the gravity of the situation and needs more attention from all of us here.. This is Shane Tomlinson... Shane was one of 49 individuals slaughtered in Orlando a couple nights ago.. Shane was a Janet Jackson fan.. This is a screenshot of a portion of Shane's personal Instagram account.. RIP Shane...
  11. why do you feel like you have accomplished something...anything?? You're legit pretending as if I or someone else said they regretted feeling the feelings they felt.. You don't know what "backtracking" means!
  12. After the Orlando shooting, Drumpf tweeted that he "appreciated the congrats" about being right about Islamic terrorism.. It was in very poor taste.. for a member on here to basically say "haha you were wrong, Janet does care" is as stupid as Drumpf tweeting what he did.. It took her 2 days to post a video that a fan made.. Really all her team added was the hashtag "#WeAreOrlando".. I'm happy she/her team did that, but again, before that was tweeted out they made sure to post that YouTube video yesterday first.. also, who is backtracking!? Please point out where anyone backtracked... It didn't happen.. Saying something to the effect of "I feel better now" is not backtracking.. Nowhere did I ever say "I was wrong for feeling the way I did".. If I had said that in particular, that would be backtracking.. ya'll are so dumb sometimes, it's crazy..
  13. wow dude.. You're the equivalent of Donald Trump right now attempting to pat yourself on the back.. good look.. Suits you well ?
  14. Btw! I hope by posting that screen shot of Shane's IG that folks on here realize how inappropriate it was for some members like Norman to continually reply back to my statements of disappointment with LOL emojis.. so shameful.. This isn't a laughing matter, regardless of what angle you want to view it.. People were hurt and killed, and among them a ton of people all over this country (gay/straight/trans/black/white/purple/whatever) were deeply hurt as well.. For some on here to willingly ridicule and laugh at others raw emotions (and suggest that we'll still do and buy whatever Janet tells us to) is beyond belief..
  15. you're probably right.. I feel like Janet is so far out of touch with not only her fanbase, but her humble roots and beginnings.. And just like it was probably her team that did the YouTube upload yesterday, it's again likely that her team was the one to tweet the SKB video and "#WeAreOrlando"... I'm just glad she did finally "say" something, but wish the pretentious video uploaded yesterday could've been held off at least until after her "statement" was released..
  16. I'm going to put a face to ONE of the lives lost that day.. this is a screenshot of Shane's Instagram gallery/account (I'm sorry but I couldn't find his last name).. he was slaughtered along with 48 other innocent people.. Shane was a Janet Jackson fan... may he rest in peace..? I hope some now find it possible to believe how I could have been offended by her lack of concern when she uploaded that YouTube video yesterday... I'm over it now, but my feelings were valid..
  17. I like that style, although I tend to take part in both.. ?
  18. when you put it that way, then no I guess I shouldn't be surprised.. You're right, her team has dropped the ball time and time again for the last year.. But some of ya'll are too much sometimes i swear.. I don't think anybody is backtracking on anything.. The feelings I felt and the offense I took yesterday after that YouTube video was uploaded are still there and valid.. my point was (this entire time) was why did that video NEED to be uploaded and shared with everyone at that particular moment...?? Why couldn't she have waited to tweet/post/say what she did today regarding the massacre, and THEN upload her dumb pretentious video.?? ya'll need common sense courses if you can understand the logic behind that..
  19. Holy hell of course she's not supposed to do anything ...but her doing NOTHING would've been better than her/her team uploading such a dumb video at a time of crisis in her home country.. again, it's not rocket surgery, folks! ?
  20. because at the time it's what I felt.. At the time, when she/her team chose to upload a frivolous video during a time of national mourning, that's what I felt.. if you or anyone else takes issue with it, click that red arrow and carry on with your day.. ?
