Still not a giant fan of the janet. album.. So much filler on there imo.. And a lot of the tracks sound so dated, moreso than most stuff from Control/RN.. Usually only listen to TTWLG and If, occasionally This Time and ATAP.. WAYN is good too.. Everything else can be kept..

I was just bouta say Thriller (along with maybe Billie Jean, Smooth Criminal and Man In The Mirror) defines MJ as an artist and those are his 4 biggest, most recognizable tracks he ever made (especially Thriller due to the masterpiece short film)! but I agree with RN.. It's iconic, forever lasting.. A song doesn't have to be a #1 hit for it to be iconic (Smooth Criminal nor Thriller ever made it to Top 3 songs on the Hot 100 chart in the US).. coupled with the masterpiece music video for RN, it stands as her most widely known piece of work..

most folks doubt (even Mike's craziest, Stan-iest of fans) that Prince and Paris are biologically his.. To find the answer as to why Mike chose to try and convince folks that they were of his own DNA is probably impossible at this point.. The true reason(s) died with him.. We could sit here and speculate for the rest of the day as to why he made those choices (and there are some good, logical theories out there), but it would likely solve nada.. But of course those kids are his just as much as my daughter and son are mine (and I full on shot nut rockets into their mom! ?).. And do you mean the Thriller 3D idea is a cute xmas package? But the area it is in will never be zoned for that kind of public destination.. They would literally have to behold an entire new road to even access that property, as it's a skinny ass 2-lane road that's crumbling... Would never be able to handle that amount of traffic.. Not to mention the neighbors ain't having it.. and believe it or not there actually isn't an official MJ museum.. Although there definitely needs to be.. I think the closest to a MJ museum is at the Mandalay Bay hotel in Vegas where they have the MJ One show at.. They have an incredible MJ store there (everything is MJ, literally) and a lot of his shoes and costumes and stuff behind glass.. It's amazing.. norman, you will likely scoff at the idea, but if you're ever in Vegas, I highly recommend taking in a showing of the MJ One show.. It's a state-of-the-art, highly technical show with mind blowing special effects (like his loafers descending from the ceiling and moonwalking on the stage by themselves!).. Plus you get to see and hear Janet kicking ass alongside her big bro for a good 5 mins.. And that Scream segment is much better than the Immortal version..

ugh.. If you're going to refer to Michael Jackson's children as "them white kids" then there's no possibility of having a legitimate discussion with you that is solely based on facts.. Of course 2 of those children are Caucasian, but the tone and context by which you placed your choice of words indicates that you feel them to be less of what they truly are: his children.. its 2016 bruh.. I couldn't ever see the estate blocking Janet using Scream in her show.. Legally, she's able to perform live any song by any person ever in history.. So long as she pays the songwriters royalties and doesn't release the live concert for commercial release (DVD/bluray, broadcasted, streamed, etc) without expressed permission.. however for her to use Mike's studio vocals and/or footage from the short film at all in her show does require legal permission from Sony and the MJ Estate.. In regards to that specifically, I couldn't ever see them turning her down for those permissions because (A) it's widely considered to be part her song, as well (it was released on her GH collection also), and (B) it only brings positive attention and potential revenue for Sony and the Estate and the track itself.. like I already posted about in this thread, the Estate has already used Janet's image and full first verse vocals for the live Scream segments for both Cirque Du Soliel shows and one of it's remixed soundtracks.. One of those shows, The Immortal World Tour, ultimately went on to become one of the top 10 worldwide grossing musical concert shows in HIStory!! So yea, a lot of people have heard of Janet, once again, because of Mike..

What in the world would make you even come up with a non-serious joke about Janet being cropped out of Scream?! Janet's has been fully included, front and center, in the MJ Estate co-produced Cirque Du Soleil shows (Immortal World Tour and MJ One in Vegas) during the a Scream segments.. They're awesome, look them up if you care to see what it would be like for Janet to be in a full-scale live spectical for once! And wtf... You said Janet owns the Scream short film?!? ? uhh that's a negative bruh.. Sony/Epic Record and MJJ Productions/MJ Estate jointly own the rights to that short film.. They've released it several times under their own licenses and nowhere has it ever stated anything about Black Doll Inc. or Flyte Tyme Productions (other than they co-produced the song).. It usually also adds that Janet Jackson appears courtesy of Virgin Records.. I'm not sure how you came to that conclusion, other than your own biased hopes and dreams.. All of this lends itself to the fact that this is a 100% Michael Jackson work of art through-and-through, whether you like it or not..

I own the UK bluray release of Moonwalker and the quality is immaculate!!! there's bits and pieces of a lot of his classic videos in there, all in full 1080p HD!! They all look amazing, it's like seeing them all for the first time all over again!! just imagine if SCREAM was one day converted!! The way that it was shot totally lends itself to a legit 3D conversion and I bet it would look incredible!

There were several reports in the summer of 2014 that the Michael Jackson Estate, along with director John Landis, were working on a 3D conversion of the iconic music video/short film "Thriller," but there was never a specific release date/window when it would be shown to the fans/public. Many thought it would be ready for release around Halloween last year, but the announcement never came and neither did the 3D movie. There are some solid rumblings going on throughout the fan community that the official announcement will be SOON!! The details apparently are still sketch but rumors are that they're aiming for some sort of theater/cinema release around October, and that it will include unseen footage and a possible alternate ending!! im a thriller fan AND a 3D fan (if done correctly).. This sounds interesting, and I'm hoping it will come out on 3D Bluray so I can add it to my collection! It'll be the first official 1080p high definition MJ music video ever released, so that's a big reason to be excited imo!

Upon first listen it had a country-ish vibe to it imo, and I appreciated that.. It's one of my favs from side 2.. in an alternate universe I would've loved to have seen her perform this song (or songs like this) live.. In the studio she's incredibly versatile between genres, and I wish she displayed that more in her live performances.. I'd imagine an "unplugged" style performance of this song would sound great, among others.. I felt like the song was written with her parent's relationship in mind..

Adele is a woman in her 20's, right snack in the middle of her career peak (so far), probably healthier than she's ever been in her life and u think she's just gonna be like "nah fuck it" to everything? You're entitled to your own opinion but I'm curious as to how you drew those conclusions.. Adele seems like the type of entertainer who stays on her shit and keeps a good head on her shoulders.. She hasn't been flaky at all so far, not counting when she had her vocal cord surgery..

yea that stage was going to be epic.. He had the largest 3D LED screen ever created and it was made to cut through stage lighting, so that everyone in the crowd, night after night, would put on 3D glasses to experience the 3D visuals, stage performers, aisle performers, lighting effects, and Michael himself.. It would've been absolutely unbelievably incredible! Ever since he died I've always felt like if he had to die, it would've been so heartbreakingly (and artistically) poetic for him to perform the first show, and then pass away that night in his sleep.. The way it truly played out was already tragic and somewhat poetic, but I just so wish he would've been able to hear the roar of the first night's sold-out crowd.. Imagine the boost to his confidence it would've been for him.. ultimately though, I'm just really glad that he got to see himself sell out close to a million tickets for 50 shows in 2 hours.. That proved to him that a ton of folks still loved him and wanted to see him do what did best..

At first I doubted her being pregnant also.. And I'll prolly hold out until an actually baby bump pic surfaces for me to be 100% fully trusting of this whole scenario... but ever since jimmy tweeted his congrats and retweeted some articles saying she was pregnant, and even Janet tweeted that "baby Janet" emoji gif her damn self.. So I'm pretty much just taking everything at face value and just waiting to see what the next move of her and team will be..
