eli's_rhythm Posted February 13, 2011 Share Posted February 13, 2011 I can see why someone would vote for Control. It was groundbreaking in its production and genre-bridging. RN1814 was only an evolution of that sound. However, RN has even more classic songs on it, it started Janet's mainstay album structure with interludes, and its subject matter is simply more timeless than what's on Control.
