Battle Of The Year's Best Album: Round 8

This has been the hardest round for me in terms of culling the numbers. Critics' faves like Jamiroquai, Björk and The Chemical Brothers, pop highlights from All Saints, Hanson and Aqua, and monster sellers like Céline Dion, Savage Garden and the Titanic soundtrack all missed the cut. Not to mention other great efforts from En Vogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Mary J. Blige and plenty more. 1997 was a fantastic year.

The one thing I found easy was my vote. Sarah McLachlan's Surfacing is a masterpiece.
