This has been the hardest round for me in terms of culling the numbers. Critics' faves like Jamiroquai, Björk and The Chemical Brothers, pop highlights from All Saints, Hanson and Aqua, and monster sellers like Céline Dion, Savage Garden and the Titanic soundtrack all missed the cut. Not to mention other great efforts from En Vogue, Natalie Imbruglia, Mary J. Blige and plenty more. 1997 was a fantastic year.

The one thing I found easy was my vote. Sarah McLachlan's Surfacing is a masterpiece. -_-

Damn, I graduated high school in 96 and now I'm a year in in the military. Ch..this is the year Janet's "Velvet Rope" came out..In October anyway..

i'd go with Erykah but with THAT radiohead album on the run i can't do it -_- they are two incomparable albums but Ok Computer is just another experience :wub:

I remember back in the day going to da hood to get dat shit, chile I paid 20 dollars foe a quick copy of the Velvet Rope, see back then you wasn't downloading shit you had to wait for retail but the hood always had it at least a week early :filenails: I did the same wit Beyonce's debut.....oh how things change :filenails:
