Prince juss relies on his music in audio form to be his legacy while the rest of the world values videos as being the artistic expression of the music. It's all about visuals...and it has played a major part for 3 decades in the industry. Why he wants to be this faceless artist on YouTube boggles me since THATS WHAT VIDEOS ARE MADE FOR alot like movies, to be played over and over again to the consumers liking. Why wouldnt you want kids today to discover and delve into your work? Who doesn't want a broader audience. For him to be such an "artist" he sho is selfish lil bit. Art is to be shared..that why I respect Michael Jackson.. more than him cuz Mike's "gets it" ..Prince can't get beyond Prince being in his own ass.

He's doing himself a disservice. His legacy depends on future generations of people being able to discover his music though sites like youtube, dailymotion and blogs. My 17 year old brother spends hours watching old hip hop videos on youtube and now knows about artist like KRS-one and wu-tang. He asked me about Prince and all i can do is direct him to the library to rent his old albums. Kids today know about MJ, Madonna, Janet and Whitney because of social media sites allowing them to access it. Prince needs to get witrh the program and stop letting his inner Gemini douchebag control his personality.
