So it’s official!!! Janet’s 12th studio album is officially called “Black Diamond”!!! Can we say absolute BEST album title since “The Velvet Rope”?!? Bar none!!!

Lmao!!! I think people are afraid of her doing a rehash of her RN30 tribute but I don’t think she will!!! I think it’s very likely to be a completely fresh and new production!!!

Ehhhhh I’m trying to keep my expectations low but I’ve been so excited for a follow-up to “Unbreakable” since she announced she was working on new music during her Billboard magazine interview. I honestly am so eager and beyond anxious to hear where she is in her life now after becoming a mother. “Unbreakable” was such a subdued yet masterful return after a 7 year absence. It’s been almost 5 years since and Janet’s been through even more from her third divorce to the birth of her son. I truly hope she continues this reinvigorating ambition with yet another superb effort with a 12th album...whenever that makes its way to the masses. Also a massive world tour again is what I need after seeing her for the first time during SOTW in 2017!!! Think of the visuals and how she’s present her greatest hits, deep cuts and new music with a budget the size of TVR tour??! Seeeeee I’m getting my hopes up again!!!

Ummm no!!! We need our far share of US dates if it’s a WORLD tour, hence the name. I understand the Euro fans as well as other countries are mad as hell by being snubbed so hard, but Janet’s biggest fan base is in the US and she STILL needs profit from us. Besides, I need to go to a new Janet concert with a new album behind it!!! SOTW was only an appetizer for me!!!

As usual, keeping my hopes so low incase news turns out to be Eissa’s children's book line!!!

The thing is you barely saw what happened. It was literally half of a second!!! I’m sure people were more confused than outraged at night. It’s when the media the day after plastered her nipple all over the country and made it into some HUGE scandal that needed to be observed and pick apart because of the Bush administration at the time. Not to mention, Janet being a black woman and years later finding out Les Mooves used that moment to ignite the most ruthless and uncalled for career sabotages of the 21st century so far!!!

Gotta admit!!! This was another Janet filled year for her career!!! Wrapping up SOTW, R&RHF Induction, celebrating Rhythm Nation’s 30th Anniversary, etc. Not bad at all!!! We can only hope 2020 has so much more in store!!! Hey that rhymed!!!
