Ehhh it’s hard finding a man who’s not only right for u but the whole package. Some are hott but no personality, some are so sweet but don’t find them attractive, etc. If I learned anything in the last 8 years of being out, boys are extremely insecure and men play games. It’s so hard to find something real honestly. I’m a hopeless romantic drowning in a sea of superficiality and self absorbed narcissism. There’s nothing wrong with being sexy, there’s nothing wrong with having a preference, etc. but these dudes are so stupid and go overboard just to please themselves not you. N that’s no way to start a relationship. Ehh!

You know, sometimes I wonder why Janet never considered doing an album centered around the aftermath of the Super Bowl. I know at the time she was extremely embarrassed and wanted absolutely NOTHING to do with talking about, but seems like such a great opportunity for her to once again use what was going on in her life to make an album that was boldly political and tragically personal. I’m not saying “The Scorn” (just go with it! ) would have been a commercial success considering she was still being so blacklisted my the media and radio but at least her immense credibility as an artist wouldn’t have continued to rapidly dip in quality after “Damita Joke”. She could have used the theme and concept of the album to be about how marginalized black women are in the media, how hypocritical the CBS, NFL and the Grammys were, talk about the betrayal she felt from Justin Timberlake’s reaction and how his career seemingly got better while her reputation was tainted. Her 9th album could have been a true testament to her resilience yet remarkable vulnerability by setting the record straight through her music and leaving it up to listeners on how THEY should feel feeding into the mass hysteria when there were more important things going on in the world. It’s clear during interviews between 2004-2006 she was furious and had a lot to say but shied away from the subject out of embarrassment. But what could have been an album that could have possibly rivaled “The Velvet Rope” And even “Rhythm Nation” in its insightful lyricism and thought provoking examination of society at the time focusing on something so inconvenient and should have been inconsequential given the hypocrisy of American TV at the time. What people should be worried about and what the children SHOULDN’T be exposed too. Enlightening the people that are still willing to hear her opinion on the subject n instead talking about it, singing and writing about like she always has instead feeding into the bad press and career slide with more meaningless sex driven albums like 20 Y.O. Who knows! The album still would have probably failed but at least Janet would have controlled the narrative and made people way more interested in what she had to say instead of constantly avoiding the subject. So the album could have failed and “Discipline” still would have come after. But 2006’s “The Scorn” could have been a thematically triumph in keeping with the Control 20th Anniversary angle but with an overall dark underlining presence showing Janet at her angriest and in utter disbelief on how terrible things were in this country by showing what truly matters. I don’t know...what do you guys think?

Honestly, I don’t think Janet cared and seems to only be recently working on making her channel on YouTube more accessible since her team are working on reestablishing her to a new audience since she’s been so blacklisted and unappreciated before she came back with “Unbreakable”. It’s all about marketing and reestablishing her brand since the SOTW Tour. Maybe in preparation of an upcoming new project? Who knows???

Honestly, ANYTHING is possible when it comes to Janet until she says so at this point! A year ago, we didn’t think she would perform on a cruise ship n do a residency...yet....here we are!!!

For once I agree with u, as much as I want to believe this, Nothing’s final until Janet says it is. A new album, a new world tour, etc. I’m not gonna speculate and assume anymore until Janet confirms it in that sweet, soft voice just what the hell is going on here!!!

I seriously NEED All her Virgin Era videos uploaded in HD on her page!!! That run of her discography is some of her absolute best work yet there are versions that look worse than the actual years they came out! “If”, “All For You”, “Someone To Call My Lover”, “All Nite”, etc. need that modern sheen of a visual upgrade to show how truly groundbreaking and magnificent those video clips r!!!

Ok, can I just say that why is Janet ALWAYS being compared to her contemporaries just cause they are around her age??!? Madonna has always been stunts and theatrics. What she lacks in natural dance ability and execution, she made up for with her athleticism. Janet is NOT that kind of performer. Her choreography is far more intricate and takes up A LOT more energy than Madonna busting a move and launching herself into a crowd of dancers. Sure, Paula is pushing 60 and can put on one hell of a show still but she ISNT Janet. Their bodies are different and they perform differently because they each have their limits. Uhhh did ya’ll forget Janet’s VERY athletic “I Get Lonely” performance during her Vegas show??? She is STILL performing beyond the limits of what a the average woman her age can do...for u! Stop being ungrateful! She still puts on a show greater that MOST female artists these days! What excuses do you have for them?? Be Gone you spoiled thots!!!
