It's almost like you want it to fail because it's not the upbeat song you wanted. Why not just wish her success and be done with it? Is it because if it doesn't become a number 1 smash, you want to be able to say "See? I was right!"? Come on, homie. Celebrate with us. Don't be a buster.

Miguel's song "Adorn" sold 2 million copies. A number 1 R&B song. Ain't nothing to sneeze at.

Janet is targeting adults, the people who actually spend money on music rather than illegally download it. I don't blame her.

I don't think Janet is worried about radio or charts. I think sales are where she's focused and she's been using alternate channels to solicit those sales. She seems to be trying a new model. No one listens to radio anymore, anyway. I haven't listened to the radio in YEARS. Let's just focus on helping her to trend and to sell.

I remember in 1993 when people said that TTWLG was going to bomb because people expect huge, uptempo songs for Janet. But the song went on to be one of her most successful #1 singles.

I can't stop listening to it. I have the same excitement for this song that I had for "That's the Way Love Goes" when the album version first hit radio. I sense a hit.

Oh, this is groovy. This is that classic, sultry, sensual R&B that Janet perfected. I am absolutely feeling this groove.

Ah, so it's confirmed that the album is called Unbreakable also. I like that it's connected to her indomitable will. It reminds me of what she said at that Soul Train Lady of Soul Awards: "Black women possess an indestructible strength that allows us not only to get down, but to get up, get through, and get over." Yaaassssss, J!

I don't ever want to be famous. That paparazzi stuff really irks my nerves. The noise, the yelling. UGH. More power to Janet for being able to endure that nonsense, though.

Because lesbian eroticism is out of the picture? If anything, a girl-on-girl "If" would be much edgier and risque.

Or an intro, like "Morning" was the intro to "That's the Way Loves Goes."
