  1. Can you imagine Janet talking about #BlackLivesMatter? Talking about the black women, cisgnder and transgender, who are also victims of violence from the police and others? I LOVE political Janet. And I hope this whole project is co-produced by Jimmy an Terry. And I hope that beat in the background of her message is from one of the tracks. The vibe is SO real.

  3. I almost can't believe this is happening. And if she's working with Jimmy and Terry too, this will be nothing less than an epic, iconic year. Welcome back, Janet!
  4. Happy birthday, Janet! Welcome back. We missed you! And thanks for giving us a present on *your* birthday!
  5. I find that it's the song I keep going back to the most on DISCIPLINE. I really, really love this song and I'm glad it's finally getting some critical attention--even if that attention is mad late. LOL!

  10. Picking up faces all over the place. Snatching wigs in other people's houses. http://www.nydailynews.com/gossip/2011/07/28/2011-07-28_beyonce_does_destinys_child_reunion_at_kelly_rowlands_fete_steals_thunder_from_h.html Beyonce does Destiny's Child reunion at Kelly Rowland's fete, steals thunder from 'Here I Am' singer It may have been Kelly Rowland's party, but it turned into Beyoncé's room. The sultry "Single Ladies" songstress took part in a Destiny's Child reunion at the Top of the Standard on Tuesday night, but only after her former bandmates came to her. With her husband, Jay-Z, out on the West Coast, Beyoncé showed up at the Standard Hotel hot spot accompanied only by a security detail. Upon her arrival around 1 a.m., Beyoncé's bodyguards initially seemed to be leading her toward the back of the club where Rowland was celebrating the release of her third solo album, "Here I Am," with the third member of Destiny's Child, Michelle Williams, and British pop star Estelle. But then the script got flipped. Although the crowd had thinned considerably by the time Beyoncé arrived, her appearance caused quite a stir among the remaining revelers. As a result, her handlers seemed to think better of ferrying Beyoncé through the clamoring crowd to the back of the room. Instead, they installed the diva in one of the club's front banquettes and brought Rowland to her. The security detail also set about preventing anyone from snapping Sasha Fierce's picture. One bodyguard went so far as to shine his flashlight in the faces of would-be shutterbugs. When Rowland arrived at her former band-mate's banquette, the two reunited with a very long hug. Williams soon followed and quicker than you can say "Bootylicious," the Grammy-winning group commenced their Meatpacking District reunion. The trio hung out for nearly an hour and even allowed a few close friends to snap their picture. Rowland looked stunning in a revealing body-hugging dress and seemed to be in a great mood all night. She beamed while posing for pictures in a special lounge set up in one of the Standard's 16th-floor rooms. Rowland didn't even break a sweat when a glass of Moët Rose Champagne toppled by jostling photographers came oh-so-close to dousing her — but didn't. Before the reunited pop trio left the club together around 2 a.m., Rowland took to the microphone to thank those who'd attended, including singer Maxwell, model Jessica White, actress Tika Sumpter and Kanye West protégé Big Sean. The deejay then played the first single from Rowland's album, "Motivation," and it lived up to its title. Beyoncé and Williams were soon singing and dancing along to the track before calling it a night.
  11. There will be no second coming of Janet. You see what happened when Ciara and Cassie thought that. If anything, Kelly is the second coming of Karen White. No shade.
  12. Fresh off of her I Get Lonely Teas performance, Kelly does her janet.-era Rolling Stone teas/20 Y.O. era Vibe teas. I bet you guys didn't know that Janet and Kelly have the same management team. Coincidence? I think not.
  13. http://www.rhymeswithsnitch.com/2011/07/beyonce-loses-her-voice.html Tuesday, July 19, 2011 Beyonce Loses Her Voice Beyonce was forced to cut short a performance after losing her voice toward the end of the show... The shocking incident happened last week while Beyonce was in London taping her television special 'A Night with Beyonce'. According to reports the first half of the taping for the hour long special went off without a hitch. But during the second half of the taping Beyonce's voice began to falter and she had to ask the audience to sing the chorus of her new song 'Countdown'. After struggling through the number Beyonce apologized to her fans telling them that would be the last song of the night and blamed her voice troubles on a lack of rest.
  14. I would be surprised at anything 100K or more. 80K would be respectable for her. Let's see what happens.
  15. Beyonce is perfect. Everything she does is right. If her single peaks at #29 on the Top 100, then for that week, #29 = #1. And if she doesn't want to embrace her gay following even though her whole BING is gay culture, then for the time she doesn't, homophobia = the new gay friendly. Case closed. Shit. It doesn't matter if Beyonce loves gay people or hates them. Gay boys are STILL going to pay homage to her because she's pretty, light skinned, has a fabulous blonde weave, rocks high fashion, and can sing and dance. Trust, if Sarah Palin could do those things, she'd have a gay following too--no matter what homophobic nonsense comes out of her mouth.
  16. My bad. I'm here for the days when 300,000 copies sold in the first week meant you debuted at #7 on the top 100.
  17. The girls these days barely go platinum, much less multiplatinum, unless you include worldwide sales. Currently, selling one million is consider a super-duper achievement. Janet lived in the days when one million records sold was considered a flop. I'm here for the old days.
  18. Damn. Why Tina Knowles have to look ridiculous even on a normal bike ride? #WhereIsHerStylist?
