Real rap, LL has crept into my Janet top 5 (number 4 in front of Empty) This track has really resonated w/ me seeing as how I just recently got out of a codependent relationship. The production is so understated but powerful at the same time...the little twangs and instrumentation in certain spots is just straight up ear candy. Janet's vocals are so vulnerable and somber, but you can identify w/ the emotion she's giving. I can't get through this song without getting in my feelings.

I know I might be in the minority but I can actually respect Jan's approach during this era. Blacking out the media (like they did her for the last few eras) and using Jimmy and Terry as her mouthpiece has been brilliant. It really works in regards to the theme of Unbreakable and this new stage in her life. I don't give a shit of Janet never does another interview (print or televised) As long as she keeps churning out masterpieces like Unbreakable for the FANS then I'm G. Janet has had nothing left to prove since The Velvet Rope. AFY-Disc. we're her vanity/pet projects....she recently emerged inspired and with something to say with UB and look at the acclaim and praise she has been getting. And without a single interview or televised promotional tactic...a bad bitch!

Yes I would love an instrumental for DM/Euphoria. That would be eargasmic^^^^

Two strong title tracks and album openers. DJ is great but UB has so much soul, plus Janet is sangin' her ass off in the final chorus (&&&& those harmonies)

I love how it becomes more layered after the second verse.

Honestly when the album first dropped I considered both songs to be filler. Now they're both my favorite songs on Unbreakable. It's like that 1, 2 punch seeing as how both tracks are next to each other in sequence. It's bittersweet as well cause I'm going through a breakup and before me and my ex broke up I decicated 2 B Loved to him on V-day. Oooh I just wanna live in your heart and mind, be your everything combined...I WANT YOU TO NEED ME! share love with youuu til the end of time

Both tracks have been interpreted as farewell tracks, but now that theory has been debunked regarding Curtains since we saw the release of Unbreakable. I personally love Curtains and it has slowly become a top 10 Janet song for me. Those muffled horns, layered vocals etc. are just heavenly. Back in 08 the song used to get me so teary-eyed, because it was my freshman year of college and I had left all my old friends behind. Well Travelled is okay too but I usually skip it. I can see why some fans like it though maybe it grow on me in the coming years.

I can't even listen to Dammn Baby anymore cause it reminds me of ex (we broke up a few weeks ago) and I would play the shit out of it when he was in the car. Signing along to every word and he would go "wtf is she even saying?" Also I can't get through 2 Be Loved and Take Me Away or else I'll start crying. This heartbreak thing is no fun. I associate the entire Unbreakable album with him and it sucks cause I love this album. Shit we got together the day Unbreakable (song) was put on youtube and I played it nonstop when we were in his apartment.

My first real breakup just happened and Lessons Learned really speaks to me. Jan, how did you drop this masterpiece of an album so late in your career. I just can't this bitch is bad.
