  1. I can't really remember. It was so many men ago! I just remember feeling uncomfortable like I needed to poop but I didn't.
  2. Afrodisiac is brilliant - the song and the album
  3. That's the key point where you are wrong. An addict does not have the same choice or control which is why they are an addict. They thought that they could control it at first, and initially probably could. They could take it or leave it. Unfortunately addiction is so powerful that by the time people realise they have a problem and want to stop it's too late. This isn't a point for debate it's a fact.
  4. Addiction is a disease. She had a lot of problems some of the causes were not her fault. She was a victim in many ways. Addiction screws with your mind. Was she a good mother? Most of the time probably. Was she the best mother/sister/daughter/friend she could be? Impossible unless she was clean which we know she wasn't. Being a drug addict makes you selfish. You WANT to do better and be better but while you are addicted you can't. She made a selfish stupid decision but her decision making faculties were affected by being an addict. She and her children deserve sympathy not judgement.
  5. Happy birthday Bubu!! Have a great time!
  6. Cool! That will be nice to get yourself sorted in peace. I'm not familiar with the area - I'm all the way east near Stratford
  7. Yay! Which area will you be living in?
  8. Congratulations!!! Your mum is going to miss you so she's venting x
  9. Really? You'd say that to your boss?
  10. I'm still of the opinion that you were wrong. You judged him by assuming he was going to make it all about him. Maybe you were right, but maybe he thought it would bring more attention to the cause, make it a bigger event. He's a drinker. He is also your boss. You putting yourself in the place to manage his behaviour isn't smart. So while everyone here pats you on the back saying well done you can bathe in the fuzzy feeling of being right. But clearly you don't really believe that or you wouldn't have posted. I've always been honest with you. Maybe a bit brutal, but rarely have I given you incorrect advice. Keep on managing his drunken behaviour and see where that gets you
  11. I would mind my own business and think about why I can't go more than 2 weeks without needing a drink and let my boss handle himself. It would be very silly for me to try and manage my bosses behaviour when that would put me in a situation where he could resent me.
  12. Still sexy after all these years
  13. People that that AGES at cash points /ATMs
  14. And if Jamaica sues and wins (they won't win btw) then I'm suing Jamaica for my share
  15. African Americans could sue Britain too
  16. You out of everyone in this thread NEED to make it last because it sounds like you are an alcoholic or well on your way down that road. No shade intended, I'm being real with you.
  17. This again? I notice that it's a certain type of black person that wears a derogatory disgusting term like its a badge of honour.
  18. There was no yelling and arguing - just shock from them that tried it. I only ever had to do it one time each
  19. He looks more like MJ than those 3 white children do. I'd laugh if he was his son lol.
  20. I had fights with my 2 exs. One burnt me with a cigarette on my bday while we were clubbing because I was talking to someone. I beat his ass. The next bf poured a drink over my head. I beat his ass too. My current bf embarrassed me and then was trying to get smart when I was explaining my issue (in the hallway at a party). I told him to leave me alone because I was getting angry. He wouldn't. So I beat his ass too. I'm such a peace loving person and because of this men seem to think that they can try me in public place!
  21. Thanks again guys - it was a very ordinary day - too much work to do
  22. Thanks guys! I can't believe it's been 12/13 yrs since I started posting on this forum and it's predecessors! So many things have changed yet so much in life stays the same!
