I agree. I think those titles are meaningless. Especially considering the KOP was called "the self proclaimed KOP" half the time.

1. Janet has been referred to as the queen of pop in the media numerous times throughout the years however public opinion would clearly give that title to Madonna. 2. It would be a huge stretch to say Madonna stole from Kylie directly. I'm sure Kylies success doing dance music "inspired" Madonna but I don't see any direct copying.

Parents whose children are morbidly obese (except in circumstances where the child has a disorder) are abusing their kids. It is usually out of ignorance rather than intent which is why the kids aren't taken away.

As I'm in the UK I don't know as much as you guys do. All I can say is that it defies logic that any member of the public can be walking around armed with a gun, shoot someone dead on a public street and not face serious prison time. A very tragic and incomprehensible situation.

JoeJoe is right. Someone having a problem with a man in heels isn't necessarily homophobic. Gay men and femininity don't come together hand in hand. It's about reinforcing gender roles. Some transsexual MTF are attracted to women. Biologically they are heterosexual but many will suffer discrimination. It's not necessarily homophobia.

TOF honey you need to read up on the difference between confirming to gender roles and sexuality. Asking him not to wear makeup is not homophobic.

Asking someone to wear a suit isn't homophobic. Reinforcing gender stereotypes maybe, but homophobic no. People have to conform to dress codes all the time, especially if they are being paid. Someone who is a list status can make certain demands. This guy not so much. He needed the BET awards more than they needed him and I guess he forgot that. Even A listers have to follow dress codes and have their outfits approved from time to time. He made the issue bigger than it was.
