  1. I'm not confusing anything. Unrealistic has nothing to do with if there is enough content it's about Janet & its presentation.
  2. That would be extensive. I mean some minor recaps would be cool, pics:very brief stories I can understand but we've gotten SOOOO much about her earlier career we can move into the future IMO. I don't want it over or underdone just to satisfy fans. I think it should be a happy medium that's good for everyone (fans & business). The plus of a Netflix doc is that it lasts longer it will be there through out the tour - driving people to the tour & to her. I think the smartest move if this is done would be - a 2 hr doc - her showing her process & speaking on some real things, then if it does well set a negotiation to film & do the concert on closing night where the tour will be there too. If it is 10 parts, which feels like a lot, maybe it should be 30 minutes - that's still 5 hours. I just want it all to make sense.
  3. I've said for a long time on here Janet should do more behind the scenes things & a documentary where she shows her philanthropic involvement, her creativity, her process BUT it needs to be a documentary of Janet dropping jewels & giving you an eye into her mind & LESS reality tv. The whole Wissam thing - that feels a little eh. If anything maybe show him pick up the baby or her getting the baby & something like her going to work while Eissa is with him but nothing too reality tv driven. 10 parts also sounds unrealistic - if it was just an hour plus long & an option to record the tour w/ BTS footage this would be great.
  4. I doubt this because I don't think it's Janet or Wissam's vibe. Plus 10 part documentary sounds invasive. Also she's going to be on tour for a little bit so when would recording be? Just sounds fishy.
  5. Yea we've had pops up for a long time now but it's not quite a demo it's just an unreleased track. A demo is incomplete and you can tell. It literally sounds like a studio session with the raw vocals and them trying to still develop the song.
  6. Seeing Janet in artist mode would be a very good look. I know we've seen snippets of her in the studio, usually recording the backgrounds or listening to a song...but it would be epic to see her fully arrive at the song. From watching her write it to sit down with the beat and mumble lyrics while she has a hook already...to hearing her demos. All of that would be epic. Watching the making of We Are the World is one of music's best moments. Janet being an artists who is said to be over so many aspects of her production, it would be elevating to see her in process. I remember in the 90s she said she wanted to write for other artists...this would be a great way into that. I think Janet gets looked over lyrically & creatively when it comes to building the music. I think the mainstream feels she's just a great performer, and it would be cool to have her break out of that mold.
  7. Does anyone know if there are any released demos of Janet in the studio? Like her actually singing her own demo? A lot of artist has them, especially artist who write, produce, or build their own projects. Everyone from Stevie to MJ & it's always amazing to see where they took the song. I feel like I've never heard any of Janet's and I'm curious.
  8. Either when there's new info or you create an engaging topic. I'd love to discuss a sound direction for new music.
  9. Uh, in my personal opinion - if she does perform State of the World, which due to the title of the tour seems likely, I think she should reinvent it. Personally, the song isn't bad & the lyrics are pretty relevant but it's kinda dated. I never anticipated her performing that song again, unless she does release something like 4-6 songs on an EP under the same name & she could even do a modernized/reprised SOTW track. Who knows...but I kinda doubt that's what's happening. Also, as AMAZING as it would be for Janet to add in songs like Can't Be Stopped, New Agenda, LIAWTDM, Dream Maker to make the theme of this tour very solid...I doubt she will do it. The thing is even though it's a rebirthing of Unbreakable tour - IF it is done right she could make this tour a MASSIVE visual & artistic experience like none of her other tours just based on the theme & timing alone. The name sends a message of concern & action...while she is already an icon - if she does this right it could really push her even higher up the chain.
  10. I think it will be driven with a single. Remember she is releasing new music but don't think it will be anymore than a couple songs. It would be epic if she did a State of the World EP
  11. That was definitely one of, if not, her bes intro. I agree I wholeheartedly think the tour will be pretty much the same with a couple songs changed in & out. She drops like 2 new songs to push the tour HOPEFULLY a visual with one & im betting one is with Bruno Mars. I just wish Janet was the kinda artist that REALLY utilized her discography because over the years & currently she could really have so many diff songs in rotation to keep fans guessing what she'll perform next.
  12. I saw her outside in an amphitheater & it wasn't that big. She didn't get to use all her staging but the show was epic. Since I saw the Jones Beach performance from the Janet. Tour I always wanted to see her outside. Even though it drizzled she killed it, but she said it made the show a little difficult. BUT the other venue might be very big that you're going to.
  13. Quote where I have ever done that. With anything.
  14. Oh ok like Make Me was number 1 on the dance chart? The chart no one gives a shit about. Got you.
  15. Oh ok. Nice flip and switch. Massive hit & general public acknowledge....charting. Also no one has their hopes up, every conversation isn't an expectation.
  16. No but you posted like it was. You claimed that she's performing these "charting", general public, famous songs. You're claiming that to be all she's doing, or songs from the era she's in - I asked throb because beyond it being a fan favorite it doesn't fit that mold. The is she could mix up her set list because she has an extensive one. It has nothing to do with any of that other shit.
  17. When making sense is simple. If Janet can perform an inaudible After You Fall she can perform 24Play lmao
  18. Quote me where I said how long she should perform this song? Every poll including on forums you're banned from with 24 play - it wins. Every tour season when hypothetical setlist come up it makes ppls setlist. No more than I don't have the means to poll every Janet fan you can't say they don't. You just want to be an antagonist. I never said everyone else was wrong - if anything you have been chasing every comment I make to engage me about being wrong. I don't follow you from thread to thread giving perspective on your opinion. So here we are again with you doing the most. Isn't there some type of policy about having your phone on the floor?
  19. Really that's very interesting. My radio stations usually play all the old hits like ATAP, IGL, TTWLG, WITOY, etc.
  20. Go Deep Timbaland remix & TA AMA remix which she did and I really appreciated that. But beyond that I'm good. Runaway wasn't performed much on UCAP except maybe in Australia. I don't get why TBTILAF has stuck around so long. I like it but better songs can take it's place. Especially if she's choosing songs from a back catalog most don't know.
  21. there's not many remixes I'm crazy about lol I might can sit that one out. But this was def a hard one.
  22. I actually would love to see all of those. I will sacrifice runaway because we've seen it so much - which I just thought about how she has taken that out lol keep proving my point. Anyway, I chose Because of Love but I'd love Slolove & all the others too honestly.
