Most fans would love to hear 24play. With the exception of some that try to diminish the conversation anytime it's discussed. I love Again as a song but like MOST of the set list we have heard it on EVERY tour. It's a beautiful song. Every Time to me works for where her life is, 24play is a vocal masterpiece for her. She has sooooo many options & 24play should be in the mix.

Yes! That's a great song - when you envision Janet singing that what song of recent years would you imagine her vocal range to be in? If that makes sense?

I agree. I want Janet to somewhat push her own envelope. Like I loved Unbreakable album it was great but I'd love to hear Janet explore sounds like the Kendrick song Love, or Bruno Versace on the Floor. I read where Janet loved Sinead Harnett - No Other Way & I think Janet would kill this type of song. Her & Kendrick could kill a modernized STOW kind of track but it has to FEEEEL modern & good.

I'm cool with her changing out CTRL/RN ballads for a mix of other songs. Funny How Time Flies, Every Time, I Want You, Truth, 24Play, Lonely etc.

that would be a great thread. If you had to make someone a curated mix of 10-12 Janet songs to make them a fan what songs would they be? I really like Every Time but it's not on my top list. I think the song just goes perfect with where she is in life & would add some switch up

I think now would be a very dope time for Janet to perform Every Time on tour.

I LOVE that she's there to see Kendrick!! That's dope af, and although it will never happen....it would have been epic if she came out on poetic justice. But I just love that they're there vibing, and I hope we get a pic of her with Kendrick - it's unlikely but I hope. He's a huge Jackson supporter.

I prefer Janet with less and more natural make up. They contour her too much. It makes her look like she just had some work done & naturally she looks younger & just all around pretty. Her cheekbones are naturally high but they make them look crafted. She's a beautiful woman but yea that's just part of the show. I get stage make up is more dramatic, but sometimes the make up does her no justice.

You don't know me. Stop pretending to. Of course I would want Janet to tour overseas. Not only do I want overseas fans to see her, I think it would be epic to see her overseas. I have wanted to see Janet in a few situations outside, opening night, closing night, & overseas. So far there's only two I have not done & 1 will be done with this tour. Youre a dick. You're a disgusting person who has literally no sense of decent commraderie. You love dissension. You love to impose your divisive obsessive cultish cynicism disguised as fandom on others, & any opposing thought is trolled. IF Janet left ppl in the states without tour dates & never came & fulfilled the show it wouldn't be cool. Same goes for overseas. Now what I can respect is if she struggles to tour overseas because the demand just isn't there like it used to be. That's business & it happens. Which would make much more sense then cutting her money short for the sake of just doing it.

There's a difference between has & can. Anyway I'd hope she can go international because her fan base across seas matters equally.

Love this. Janet always loved Missy & there's not many ppl that can get Janet to come to their shows. Missy is a legend. Janet ending up in the same room with all those girls is kinda dope. I'd love to see a pic. Janet has come back to LA & really been on the scene. I have a feeling we'll end up with a countdown clock in the next week or so. Leading into August. Lord an EP would be epic. There's so much potential!

He talks about Janet being able to tour alone & why she's better than all these other artist...but then when discussing international fans & markets he defends not caring if she can make it out there lol. I'm really hoping for you all that Janet makes it out that way & it's a great & major tour.

How do you know that about "random ppl" who write for those publications? Why can't they be fans who post on forums? You claim to know so much about ppl on an individual basis but claim ppl are making up hypotheticals about Janet. This forum is to discuss Janet as a fan the angle of what you discuss is up to the discretion of that fan. As long as they are not being offensive & disrespectful. Some ppl are fans of more than one side of her equally & simultaneously. The business & art run hand in hand. Her creative promotions & marketing push can also make her iconic. For example Puffy - he's a marketing icon. He's also a musical legend. Janet's approach has been used by other artists, because she can be a standard. If you can't tell anyone how to be a fan then lutfa.

The fact that you see it as a complaint is why this conversation is above your head. Every topic on a forum is not about fanning the fuck out. Some times people want to add layers. Some ppl are fans of Janet because of her GREAT ideas, business approach, career moves, navigating of a complex industry... you think when people write articles about her in Forbes & Billboard...and they approach it from an innovative perspective of how she's maintaining business that they're worried about the wrong thing? Theres more to praise Janet (the brand) for than a solid song & dance move. You can respect her for the way should DID & COULD be opening doors for other artists. If you don't like these conversations don't respond.

Because the it makes the MOST sense financially. If we're going to have the conversation about why these things make sense & the business perspective of this we would have to unbiasly look at it. Suspend that it is Janet, and all the love/emotions we might have for her, and just look at it as a situation of people coming to a table to make a business agreement. She essentially completed the US leg of Unbreakable. Very few shows were lost along the way. Doubling back is to make sure the money is made & she is building toward more. It's basically scaling.

if it was a "continuation" then why not continue where you left off? Why go through another US leg. It's called marketing, & marketing 101 a "make up" doesn't sell with those "different" words but you can spin it. As a continuation. Nonetheless, let's hope it does well enough that they continue overseas.
