  1. Better yet, what's a current song from Unbreakable maybe that you can hear Bruno on or a Bruno song you could hear Janet on?
  2. Yea that's what I was saying I think people hear just the music and think they would be great together but I wonder how their voices would sound together and I'm curious what tone or octave they feel for Janet would be best mixed with Bruno? It would be interesting to see.
  3. Mind you I don't care about costumes but for a Netflix or broadcast I would
  4. This is funny. I always hear people say they want Janet & Bruno in the studio together...he's an AMAZING talent & artist! I just don't know if they would be great together sonically. Idk why I feel that & even though he can rock her kinda beats idk how it would be with them together. A Netflix performance would be dope but I'd want it to be EPIC! Great visuals a story line and great costumes
  5. I'd hire a new creative team, I'd develop a thought provoking docuseries - either about Islam or humanity. I'd record 2 - 4 songs & do an artistic EP.
  6. The ideology behind the significance of that life is theoretical, for whatever reason, education has nothing to do with it. As long as that child was developing termination was the death of it. Period.
  7. Not being able to survive a host does not make you less of a child you, shitty thinking? You do realize that was you right? That "fetus" that doesn't matter was the same irrelevant catty ass individual that you grew to be just at another phase of your life. There is no gap in life. Your not dead & it relevant then a live baby. It's all or nothing.
  8. A fetus is absolutely a baby - it's not a foreign object it's not a dog one minute & morphs into a human. I'm very aware of what terminated meant. This is something I won't debate. You'll get unnecessarily catty so we'll end this here.
  9. She said, there was a baby but it was terminated? Why wasn't that in the quote? Was that an off the record remark?
  10. By far! Lmao. She was live - vocally, she danced & didn't just strut around, she seemed to be more engaged in the actual performance. So yea totally. Honestly - I just don't see how AI can make the greatest performance list when it was barely performed.
  11. I loved everything about Janet with short hair but I agree the performance was very lazy & lacked spirit.
  12. LOL, it's absolutely your interpretation. Not intelligence just perspective.
  13. Like I said put up a million references & you're still operating on an overthought over read idea of AI. It was a lackluster performance. Because I disagree with you does not mean I'm uninformed. I just disagree. If a dance historian didn't agree with you now they just didn't see it? No. Maybe you saw what you wanted. I've seen Janet tell stories & push the envelope - that wasn't that.
  14. Stop acting intelligent about some shit you're just being disagreed with. I'm more than knowledgeable about the evolution & roots of dance Janet just didn't convey this deep message & direction that you're trying to turn that performance into. And IF that was her goal she missed the mark. You literally are the only who read that deep into her strutting around in high heels. You don't see anyone else jumping to your aide or EVER having mentioned anything remotely close to your overzealous dissertation. You can call it ignorance, lol, so be it. Nonetheless, that lackluster performance is not her best. If it is Mariah's performance of Honey is one of the greatest of all time. It took the same effort.
  15. I'm aware, I disagree with AI being that. I didn't given an analysis I gave a quote of a literal story she told. We can agree to disagree. The other performances you spoke of were a clearer message, the AI performance wasn't that. But if that's what you solely saw - hey, Janet got herself one. I think for just about everybody else they didn't feel any of that.
  16. In my opinion that was the deepest overthinking & stretch of an analysis I've seen of Janet's work or performance. I'll let you have it because you really dug deep for that but I am willing to bet money you're the only one including Janet that saw it like that. Essentially you took the lyrical "concept" of Nasty & broke it down to a doctoral level & related it to that performance. To me, when Janet is telling a story it looks like the RWU tour. Good Janet vs Evil Janet. Speaking about the industry trying to take her music, trying to take her faith/soul, fighting for her right to express herself. Then literally ending with a fight over good & evil - blacked out lights to show that Good will prevail when she comes out in all white. That's a story with a story line, a middle, a climax, & an ending - as well as a clear message. AI was merely a light performance where it looked like she said, I don't want to dance too much...we don't have much time let's put something light together. And boom - you have a catsuit & strutting around "nasty" boys. Not a historical lesson on New Jack Swing, the evolution of African American music, & her seeking relationship suitors.
  17. Ok so tell me what the story was? What was the story line, or the message, at what point of the story would you call it a climax...like what was the "story"? I'll give my own example of her doing a storytelling performance but I genuinely do want to hear what you saw as the story?
  18. Na we just have different perspectives. Nasty literally was her walking from each side of the stage in heels strutting with an occasional leg move or arm move here and there. At one point she steps over a dance puts her foot on him & bends but for the most part there wasn't any real extensive choreography. It was very lax & beyond her AMAZING look - it was anticlimactic or uneventful.
  19. that's fair & often the case. I always feel they can raise the mic & she can sing out a little more. But I can understand that.
  20. Matter fact I can even see What's Ur Name having been a single, and a video where Janet is dressed slightly masculine & pursuing a guy like guys pursue girls. Still looking beautiful and long hair like DJ era but really going after the guy with her girls. I think Discipline had potential
  21. Discipline is not that bad an album. Matter of fact Luv could have done great, So Much Betta could have lended itself to a great video - Daft Punk singles tend to be gold & she could have really killed some dance & futurism with it, maybe Rollercoaster & Curtains too. But I know it had potential. Then the live press look, outfits, choreo it was all just very weird to me. The wig she wore on the GMA & MTV, the whole thing just was off. The little ball they used to be a part of the choreo to feel like a planet. Just wasn't into it.
  22. there were times when it sounded choppy but for the most part it just sounded live. I kinda don't like that we're so used to her not being live. We should hear her voice more often.
  23. MTV is the only performance since the BBA that comes close to it, but beyond that moment because of its sentimental value there hasn't been one better - live tv since BBA. It's to me one of her best for sure & she actually sang live during it.
