The tour we'll pretty much resemble the Essence Festival with some changes here and there obviously with some songs we have never heard from her. You have to realize a lot of people didn't get to see the last tour and the Essence Festival mimicked it mimicked most of it so if you saw the last tour don't expect something completely different but do expect some nice surprises. I hope she performs at the Wiltern in L.A. or at the Greek cause it will be very up close and personal.....damn the Nokia or Kodak Theaters would be awesome too.....these smaller venues won't be able to handle the craziness that Janet will stir in a much smaller venue. :excited: :excited:

Looks like she was headed to a Presidential dinner. She looks beautiful....there's many beautiful sides to Janet. May not be your preference but regardless she is always stunning.

I was just going to post this too.....the actual dress is being unveiled tongiht at the Rock and Roll of Hall of Fame. Bid people!!!!! They fucking credited Martel as duplicating the gown instead of using our stylist's name.

Just remember when Janet beat out Whitney and Anita at the 86 awards.....could have been 87. There was no stopping her after that especially after her performances on the AMAs and the Grammys during the Control Era. Control truly crashed onto the seen.....it didn't build up momentum it just snatched wigs left and right no matter that Whitney and Anita were better singers than Janet. It was like Janet had been Queen already....that's how quickly people wanted to give her the title. And R.N had not even come out. Just a crazy time for her during that period....I couldn't even imagine how do handle that.

As far as Janet's JALW it would have been fine but those costumes lord help me.

I'm talking about the ballads the low tempo songs....Of course I want to see some dancing but I want different choreography here and there I want to see her like I have never seen her.

I hope this is true and allows her to perform her shows in a much more intimate "cabaret" feel like at the Wiltern Theater in L.A. or possibly the Kodak and the Nokia Theater. I really hope Janet puts a different take on at least half of the songs. Janet can do it and I just don't know why she won't experiment with the delivery of her songs vocally and visually. Like I said I want to see her stand still and sing behind a standing mic.....I'm not saying she can't move but I bet you Janet can work a standing mic like no other!

I was joking about Juarez as she hasn't performed in Mexico. But seriously with Janet loving the latinos you think she would tour in Mexico or South America. Something is up.

I love the dookie braids on her she pulls them off so well especially when she's thin. DOOKIE BRAIDS PLEASE!!!!! I want to see rock star this time around. Something in the vein of "Trust A Try" without the flair bottoms.

It will start in the beginning of the summer.....the hair will be back trust. I think she's going to bring the dookie braids back from "Throb"from her SNL performance and "Anytime Anyplace".

Why doesn't she tour in South America.....never understood why. If she played concerts down there, there would be a huge resurgence in international interest in Janet. I suggested Rio and Juarez in Mexico for the hell of it.

What can I say is perfection. Those notes weren't too high for her.
