I know that. It's all subjective to me. The song still is 90's to me as it played well into '91 making it her 4th number 1 off the album. I truly at the time wasn't expecting her to release another video or single for LWNDWY. I thought the era was over but we will all know what a beast of an album RN was.

Also "LWNDWY" was released on October 2, 1990 which ushered in Janet's new svelte look.

"YAS BITCH!" That is exactly what they want. They want some bragging rights to go along with their sashay aways off the dance floor! The funny thing is that a lot of people and more casual fans are liking the snippet along with new fans. There really isn't that much complaining except for the fans on her fansites. The media is embracing that little snippet too.

I would be fine with that with just hearing this snippet alone. I can't believe she's starting her concert in 9 days! So crazy. I guess as far as Janet is concerned everything is moving along as planned.

K this snippet has all the makings of an anthem. I'm loving it more each time I hear it. It's so joyful and spiritual. Some people are saying they hear vibes from "The Way You Make Me Feel" or Whitney's "I'm Your Baby Tonight" but someone else wrote they hear Tears For Fears' "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" which I can hear more.....regardless it's completely different for Janet whether you think it has a dated sound or you don't like the sound from that tiny snippet. I think this song could be a subtle anthem for the entire project and she might just release an entire different 2nd single. These lyrics right here.....really try reading what she is saying. I've always loved a layered Janet look! Mama is serving in the album shoot.....and I'm glad she is working with Kim Bowen again. Kim is always a safe bet when it comes to dressing Janet. The look is exactly rock, tribal, punk and elegant at the same time. It frames Janet's beauty so well. Janet's inner Stevie Nick's is coming through! The hair is the main accessory along with Janet's beautiful face. I think this is the best she has ever looked to be honest! Maybe because she might be truly happy and she's glowing......Janet is not pressed at all.

I love it whether it's an actual single off the album or not.......stop creating a box that you think Janet needs to be in and just wait until you hear the entire album. That snippet gave me joy! I swear some of you are going to be flip flopping all over this era. You are going to hate it either because you were expecting something different(whatever that is) and then love it as the era grows. The lyrics are great and I love the musicality of the snippet....it has an upbeat jazz feel to it mixed with a motown vibe. Some of you might have to realize that this album might just be geared towards an adult contemporary audience and I am completely fine with that. I know there will be some upbeat dance cuts from the album but we have to let Janet reflect where she is at in her life. Janet will never be able to satisfy everyone and that's partly because a lot of us still think Janet should follow certain trends. We praise her when she doesn't but then cry bloody murder when we hear it for the first time. Relax.

I think it's fine that those attending her tour before the album drops, it's almost like a gift to hear it first live on stage.....Janet's fans want to hear new material regardless if it's on the tour or when the album drops. I think it's a way for Janet to test the waters with her new material for a month before the album drops and to create a huge buzz anticipating the release of the album. I really don't see why we have to make an issue out of this. Janet will serve what we have been asking for and if anything we want the best for Janet and I simply want to enjoy the ride. I think it's a great testament to Janet's fans who have their tickets already that they don't mind not having listened to the album yet. Enjoy the ride and let it be organic! Again Janet is doing things her way without any record company politics. It's going to pay off at least for her fans. I know we all want Janet to be on top but she's been there and then some and she is a legend. There's nothing to prove except that Janet can deliver an album that her fans can love and appreciate. No need to be pressed.

Not exciting news for you all? You all so greedy and impatient. I knew she was going to hit up Japan first before touring Europe. Janet please tour South America.....at least Sao Paulo and Brazil and definitely Mexico City. They would just explode and those dates would sell out for sure! Do 2 nights each at each city. Not sure what other cities in South America, I would say Buenos Aires but Argentina is a mess right now!

Yup same here.....feet and hands but not any feet! They have to have an arch, bigger than 10 feet at least, a little on the bony side, not too hairy. I don't have any particular pictures of just my feet though. There's a couple that show my feet off though.....if I find it I will show you. But as far as how strong that fetish is I really can't say as I don't collect pictures of feet in general but when I see them and they are feet that I like it turns me on. Legs in general too. I hate guys that have no orange on their bottom half of their legs......if it's just a stick I get disgusted. How can you have no muscle there? Also forearms turn me one and dimples on the lower back of a guy right above his ass! Also the arch of a guys back, I like to see the back split by the arch!

Poetic Justice definitely could have been better but it served it's purpose when it came out and I have appreciated the performances from the entire cast a lot more. The beginning scene when Q Tip is shot and Janet screams I was literally like "Janet is going to bring it!"......that scream and reaction was perfect. In fact she was pretty damn near amazing with her character throughout the film with the exception of a couple of scenes i.e.: the scene where she confronts Regina King's character after throwing up cause she was drunk and tells her that she can't hang with her anymore when she drinks because it reminds her of mother. The scene was a bit too "after school" special. I use to blame the actors if the scene came up short but it's really the director's job to get the best out of his actors and John Singleton should have had the balls to bring this to Janet's attention and get what was needed for that scene to work. Janet's moment in "Why Did I Get Married Too" when the girls sit with her on the steps and just cry with her is amazing....her face was heart wrenching but in the first "Why Did I Get Married" movie Janet's breakdown scene with her husband about not being "Perfect Patty" when she blamed herself for the for the death of their son almost was perfect until the resolve when they hugged. I think Tyler and John couldn't get a handle that Janet Jackson was a superstar and that she was also an actress. This is why I was so bummed that Janet didn't get to work with Lee Daniel's cause he definitely would have been able to pull out a layered performance out of Janet! Janet needed that biopic of Lena Horn too! Hope the Eartha Kitt role comes to fruition at some point cause it's a much more exciting role I think than playing Lena....it's still possible. Janet could play her from the age she is now up until the time she dies and have someone else play Eartha while she was younger as Eartha was more of a personality as she got older!

I definitely didn't imply that she took her own life or that she was taking drugs at all. What I meant was that Bobbi was really hurting over her mother's death and that I wasn't sure she was surrounded by the right people i.e.: her boyfriend if the rumors are true about what was going on as far as him abusing her.

What sucks about this is that it starts the count of views over again and this will be the 3rd time this happens. Right after the Superbowl her some of her videos were taken down and replaced again, then about 8 years ago each of her videos had about 5-10 millions views each then they were replaced and now are lucky if they have 1 million views......a couple have 7-10 million views while others have below 1 million views. Some below 500,000 views. It's a damn shame.

I'm telling you Janet will have us guessing until we see the tour! I know as fans going to the concert they will be thrilled to listen to Janet's new music before the album is released. Janet might be rehearsing 2 different tours....one for the smaller venues and one for the bigger arenas. Someone posted on YouTube that they would love to see Janet give a performance at Central Park like Diana Ross did in the 80's. I remember watching that concert as a kid and it was incredible. It would be great for Janet to have a televised performance of her tour at a very special place like Central Park! If the tour starts August 30th I think Janet has something up her sleeve and will drop the album with a 2nd single/video a week before the tour starts! I'm hoping that is the case!

I was going to post the lost footage of Madonna's Vogue music video where she couldn't get the choreography down and was being a bad sport about it while her 2 background dancers were on point but I came across this and was really surprised she went there with her R.N. inspired rendition of "Holiday" after all the shade she threw at Janet.

I don't know the Houston family obviously but this is truly heartbreaking. RIP Bobbi Kristina. This whole thing is rather nuts and I can only imagine how troubled Bobbi Kristina was to let this happen to her. At least she is in peace with her mother and reunited in heaven with her. This really shook me for a while when I read about the news 2 hours ago. Truly a tragedy that could have been prevented had Bobbi been surrounded by the right people.

During the 90's I didn't pay attention to Madonna at all as it was all crap until 1998's Ray Of Light which I think is her best album. Madonna's best concert is still the "Blonde Ambition" Tour though Janet stole the spotlight away from her with her Rhythm Nation tour in 1990 as well. Madonna was seething during this time.....if you see the "Truth or Dare" documentary there is a scene where Madonna is trying on clothes at Chanel and she tries on this black coat that is exactly like Janet's coat from "Escapade" and the one she wears in the opening of her concert for R.N. Madonna loves it and shows her dancers and as she is ready to take it off one of her dancers says "Very Rhythm Nation 1814" and Madonna responds "Bite your tongue". And here I find this clip from Madonna's girlie show performing Holiday with a Rhythm Nation look and intro. Metamucil is certainly forgetting how much she bites off other artists. Maybe she thought no one would notice or care as The Girlie Show was one of her worse tours sales wise; she took the tour for the most part overseas as no one bothered to see it in the states. Madonna was truly at her lowest career wise for a while during the majority of the 90's after "Vogue". I think Madonna having her first child saved her career as Ray of Light is truly amazing right after Janet's The Velvet Rope. She chilled for a while too but as soon as she turned 45 around the "Music" era Madonna went back to her old gay boy childish games. I've said it before......Madonna is a loud obnoxious aggressive gay bottom boy! Janet snatched the Queen title for a a little over a whole decade from 1989-2001. Janet was unstoppable and didn't put out an album every 2 years. No one can take that time away from Janet! And I think she's going to rebuild another amazing era. Madonna might be called the Queen of Pop by the World but she never ruled for more than an entire decade! We know who the real queen is and they both are amazing in their own right. I think they could learn from each other except with the exception of dance......Madonna will never get close to Janet's dancing ability style or sound as good as Janet but Madonna could help Janet with how to put on a great production but at the same time does Janet really need all that distraction as far as a high production tour? Janet has done just fine. The only thing I wish Janet would do that Madonna does is remix her older catalogue and perform them in an entirely different way. I wish I could support Madonna along with Janet as I loved certain songs from hers in the early 80's but I never loved any of her albums except for "Ray of Light" and I just can't stand the unapologetic bitch!
