I truly love the entire album from beginning to end......this is a standout album and right up there with R.N. and The Velvet Rope. The vocals are incredible and I'm loving her range right now. It sucks cause we would have been honored with videos for RnB Junkie and Weekend. Videos were made for those 2 songs and we never got to see them for reasons we all know. I know most people didn't like Weekend but damn people went in on her and more specifically her fanbase. I bet the video for Weekend would have been received a lot better than the song.

But if you really don't understand the politics of what happened to Janet after the Super Bowl and how it affected her career for nearly a full decade you are blind to how black women especially in entertainment are viewed and are held up to a different standard when it comes to their sexuality. The U.S. has come around for the most part as far as Janet....even the FCC admitted late last year that they took it too far. Janet was America's sweetheart before the Super Bowl and after that was blackballed in the industry as far as radio airplay and the media and MTV not running her videos. As far as Michael he is more cherished now than he was alive. Michael was a joke in the U.S. from the release of History until he died. Internationally he was always beloved. But back to the point....don't discuss issues of race in the U.S. especially when it concerns a black female and sexuality.

One month is not a long time. I think we will see it in the next 2 weeks which will be around the one month mark unless she's going to wait to use it as promo for the new dates if she reschedules the new Europe dates or uses it as summer promo. I think it will be sooner though cause "Night" has to be the 3rd single!

It's more of a night club/dance hall tour. The biggest venues are small theaters here and there. She performed at Webster Hall NYC about 2 weeks ago which was sold out. It's cute.

When a video is shot it usually drops about a month later.....sometimes almost 2 months depending on how much editing is being done and sometimes if the song has been remixed specifically for the music video. It's coming people! The video was shot on March 11th.....it hasn't even been a month yet! DAMN!!!!!!!!! FUCK!!!!!! FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!

But again why so concerned? If Janet is fine with it what good does it do you to keep pushing your opinions over something you have no control over? ^This Janet only exists in the past.^ Damn she was beyond incredible from this era all the way through Damita Jo! I believe she can be this again if she wanted to but she just doesn't seem to care to put so much effort in every single detail and has realized that she doesn't need to kill herself anymore with so much rehearsing. At the age of 49 I think Janet has every right to choose how hard she wants to go in. And trust me I know where you are coming wanting more from Janet and wanting perfection but I'm not going to waste my time complaining over something I can't change for Janet. I don't know her and I'm not invested enough to try and whisper in her ear.
