  1. Who are the new people that post here? I never notice anything, haha.
  2. 5. "Can't B Good" 4. "That's The Way Love Goes" 3. "Trust A Try" 2. "Rhythm Nation" 1. "Sexhibition"
  3. I LOVE "20 Y.O." !!! In fact, it bounces back and forth with "Damita Jo" & "Rhythm Nation 1814" as my FAVORITE Janet Jackson album. At the moment, I can say that it IS my current favorite. The ONLY song on this album that I'm not particularly fond of is 'So Excited' I am a fan of EVERY OTHER track. I can listen to the album from top to bottom without even thinking of skipping a track. There's not another Janet album in existence that I can honestly say that about. From 'Do It 2 Me', to 'Get It Out Me', to 'Call On Me', to 'Show Me' (DAMN JANET...it's always gotta be about you, huh?)... From 'Love 2 Love', to 'Enjoy', to 'Daybreak', to 'With U'... 'Take Care' & 'This Body'...this entire album is an underappreciated GEM in my humble opinion. Even the bonus/gift material 'Days Gone By', 'Weekend' and (quite possibly THE absolute hottest non-standard-album Janet track) 'Roll Wit'chu' are top notch to me. I'm in the minority here, but I truly and wholeheartedly dug the "20.Y.O" era. Guess I'm a glaring exception to the Everyone-Hates-20-Y.O. hatefest. This album is my sheeeeeeit.
  4. This album is pretty ill, I'm diggin' it even more now almost a month later...Rihanna truly made me a fan of her's this era. Haven't been a fan since "Music Of The Sun"...damn! My favorite's have switched up a bit. Still not here for "Close To You", "Never Ending" or "Higher"...but "Work" has grown on me a little! Still far from top tier, too repetitive and and the chorus grates on my ears, but I can appreciate her vocals and layering especially from the second verse on. As far as the bonus tracks are concerned...the only one I'm REALLY feelin' is "Pose", ratchet as hell but it's that turn up record I've grown accustomed to from Rihanna, so damn catchy! It has made up for the fact that "BBHMM" didn't make the album. "Love On The Brain" is far and away my 3rd favorite now...vocally, she went HAM on it. Love the throwback vibe, and I love the lyrics. "Needed Me" and "Yeah I said It" make gains..."Same Ol Mistakes" and "Consideration" dip quite a bit. Tracks ranked from favorite to least favorite (Top 5 in red): "Woo" "Kiss It Better" "Love On The Brain" "Desperado" "Needed Me" & "Pose" "Yeah I Said It" "Consideration" "Same Ol' Mistakes" "Work" "James Joint" "Sex With Me" "Close To You" "Never Ending" "Higher" "Goodnight Gotham"
  5. I just downloaded the album. Not Rihanna's biggest fan by any means. However, I must say, overall...I'm VERY impressed with #ANTI! I can't believe it, actually. Extremely disappointed that she didn't include "Bitch Better Have My Money", which was one of my favorite singles of 2015, and one of the most played on my mp3 player as well. But, I'm REALLY diggin' a large portion of the album. I was able to listen most of the way through without wanting to skip a track (with the notable exceptions of: "Never Ending" which is just not my style, "Higher" because she sounds like shit on it, and "Work" (w/ Drake) which, in my opinion, is akin to month old, musty, moldy, maggot infested garbage). Standouts for me are: "Consideration" (w/SZA), "Kiss It Better", "Desperado", "Needed Me", "Love On The Brain", "Same Ol' Mistakes", and the INSTANT EARGASM "Woo" (which, at the time of this post, is hands down my favorite track on the album, for reasons I cannot explain currently). Tracks ranked from favorite to least favorite (Top 5 in red): "Woo" "Kiss It Better" "Same Ol' Mistakes" "Desperado" "Consideration" "Love On The Brain" "Needed Me" "Yeah I Said It" "James Joint" "Close To You" "Never Ending" "Higher" "Work"

  7. Merry Christmas to each and EVERY one of you -- as well as your family, friends and other various loved ones! I wish you all a happy, healthy and joyous holiday. Consider this a Christmas Carol sung to you, unexpectedly, at your e-door step. ☺
  8. Wait...what? Why shouldn't they ever see the light of day outside of her tour, Gamé? "No Sleep" and "Unbreakable" are singles...they are CURRENTLY charting inside the top 10 of a Billboard chart. It would be STUPID for them to never be performed, as they are arguably the most familiar songs lifted from the album to R&B fans...due to the fact that again: they are SINGLES, they have received airplay and have certainly been heard by people who don't already own the album. If a medley of songs were chosen to be performed anywhere outside the tour, those two should DEFINITELY take part. C'mon now...
  9. I wish I cared about Adele as much as everyone else seems to.
  10. Now...THIS is my kind of topic. I saw this a bit earlier and knew someone would post it here. I can't say I'm outraged...because, well...it's WACK ASS Billboard writers who came up with the list. However, I can say that I was real surprised when I saw the listing. A few of these artists have NO business being inside a GREATEST Rappers of ALL TIME list, and it's almost comical that they are. In my opinion, they do have a number of artists represented that SHOULD be there...but the positions for some are DEAD wrong.
  11. LMAO!!! 'Sall good, we all got our preferences. I dig that you own that shit! I always say that I've always felt comfortable in my own skin though...In my head I was a BAMF from day 1 through day 63! Haha, we've gotta be our own biggest fan, right? Truly caring about yourself aids in maintaining true happiness.
  12. Hahaha yeah, I am short. 5'6" (AND A HALF...yes, give me that half inch! ) I used to wish I was taller when I was younger, but I've really gotten used to and actually embrace my height these days. I guess I've finally made it to my Janet "True You" level of self acceptance, lol.
  13. Allllllll dayyyyyyy errrrrrrry dayyyyyyy! Gon' B Alright is THE BIZNESSSSSS!
  14. I had always been a bigger dude throughout life, I played football in high school & college -- and I was pretty unstoppable as a short, stocky, very fast Running Back. However, after years of being A LOT heavier than I should be, I decided at the end of March 2015 to get into better shape...because living a healthy life is MUCH more important than being hard to tackle. March 26th to May 30th. This is what I look like today:
  15. I'm not a big fan of cats...but this little guy is cute
  16. Occurrences like this are the main reason why I can't get behind the likes of the young so called "R&B" dudes of today. Ultimate diva moments. Bieber, Chris Brown, etc. This could have been handled so much more smoothly. But, I truly feel like this is just how Justin IS in general. I get this sense of entitlement from him. Not a fan of that.
  17. ...hop his ass on a red eye flight to Qatar demand Wissam to talk some sense into wifey stat! This enrages Gamé, as he feels that Jodi needs to have more patience. While ranting to Jodi, Gamé slips and says something that immediately leads the board to believe that HE has something to do with the delay of Janet's lack of "Unbreakable" promotion. Frightened, he...
  18. Thank you! I haven't heard this in YEARS, it's surreal seeing it being posted by someone who isn't me, hahaha! I used to annoy the shit out of people on here with my songs, covers and remixes. I appreciate you sharing this track, I got a real kick out of hearing this again! LMFAO! Um, Damn Game...tell us how you really feel, ey? I will admit, definitely not my shiniest moment vocally...and MY OH MY could I not rap 5 years ago lol. Lots of improvement has taken place behind the mic I did like the catalog homage I paid to Janet in the rap though. THAT FRENCH BLUE REFERENCE THOUGH! Only a true fan would name drop "French Blue" lol. He's a real peach, ain't he? My dude! Thanks bruh! How have you been, man? I always tried to throw little things in that people on this board would say to drum up some interest in my little songs I'd make, lol.
  19. ..."I still don't 'get' why they call them 'the Virgin Islands'...of fuckin' course they're virgins, islands can't fuuuuuck!" Yes, it was a random thought, because Ralphie truly didn't give a flying fuck about the board's thoughts of his winning 'Member of the Year'. He was truly unbothered, he had other things on his mind...which angered Dayz because he felt that HE should have won the award, due to the fact that he had achieved Diamond certifications on several Planet Janet Thread Charts. Just as Dayz was about to voice his opinion, Jodi interrupts him, declaring emphatically that...
  20. ALSO: "Unbreakable" rises to #16 in its 3rd week on the chart. Maybe "Unbreakable is another future #1?
  21. I know a lot of you don't care about charts, but for those who do...this is pretty impressive: After falling to #3, being dethroned by "Hotline Bling" last week -- Janet comes vaulting back at #1...with a BULLET (gains in performance)! Go Janet!
  22. MY BAD JOE! I reposted this...didn't see that you had already posted! My apologies, lol. Great read though, huh?!
