jarrylf
OK, so I wanted to post this all week, how this works is make a tracklisting of your ultimate Christmas album made up of various artists and their Christmas songs, the 1 RULE is no SONG can be listed twice, the artist can for 2 different songs, but no 1 song can be shared/tied, thats gonna even be hard for me but I think I can do it, and I think you guys can too. So Let the games begin! 1.Rockin Around The Christmas Tree- Brenda Lee 2.All I Want For Christmas Is You- Mariah Carey 3.White Christmas- The Drifters 4.Jingle Bell Rock- Bobby Helms 5.This Christmas- Donny Hathaway 9.Christmas- Mariah carey 6.Santa Clause Is Coming To Town- The Supremes 7.A Very Merry Christmas- TLC 8.My Christmas- En Vogue 9.Spread A Little Love On Christmas Day- Destiny's Child 10.Winter Wonderland- Aretha Franklin 11.Rudolph The Red Nose Reindeer- The Temptations 12.Forsty The Snowman-The Jackson 5 13.Run Run Rudolph- Chuck Berry 14.Thats What Christmas means To me- Stevie Wonder 15.I Saw mommy Kissing Santa Clause- The Jackson 5 16.Give Love On Christmas Day- The Temptations 17.Joy To The World- Whitney Houston 18.This TIme Next Year- Toni Braxton 19.My Favorite Things- The Supremes 20.Someday At Christmas- Stevie Wonder 21.It's Beginning to look alot like christmas- Meredith Willson 22.Last Christmas- Wham 23.Another Lonely Christmas- Prince 24.Do You Hear What I Hear- Whitney Houston 25.Merry Christmas Baby- Christina Aguilera 26.Santa Baby- Eartha Kitt 27.Baby It's Cold Outside- Frank Loessor 28.Blue Christmas- Elvis 29.I'll Come Home For Christmas- Anita Baker 30.Oh Come All Ye Faithfull- Mariah Carey 31,Silent Night- The Temptations 32.Ave Maria-The Carpenters (Karen singing this song, is so.....perfect.....it should've been illegal to sing it after her) 33.Oh Holy Night-Mariah Carey, 34.Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas- Judy Garland 35.The Christmas Song- Nat King Cole And that lady's and gentlemen, is my ultimate Christmas album/playlist using every song once. i think it'd be way harder to do only 1 artist but multiple inclusions of different versions of the song, it'd be a much shorter list for me for damn sure. Now I wanna see yours!

RedSimba
^ So just no more than one version of the same song (i.e. I can't use both Mariah and the Jackson 5's "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town"), but we can use as many different songs from the same artist at we want? 1. The Nutcracker Suite - Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky 2. White Christmas - Bing Crosby 3. Sleigh Ride - Leroy Anderson 4. Rudolph The Red-Nosed Reindeer - Gene Autry 5. Jingle Bell Rock - Bobby Helms 6. Oh Santa! - Mariah Carey 7. Frosty The Snowman - Jimmy Durante 8. The Christmas Song - Marvin Gaye 9. O Come All Ye Faithful - Mariah Carey & Patricia Carey 10. Someday At Christmas - Stevie Wonder 11. Santa Claus Is Coming To Town - The Jackson 5 12. This Christmas - Donny Hathaway 13. When Christmas Comes - Mariah Carey & John Legend 14. Christmas Wrapping - The Waitresses 15. Last Christmas - Wham! 16. Christmas In Hollis - Run-D.M.C. 17. Do You Hear What I Hear? - Whitney Houston 18. O Holy Night 2000 - Mariah Carey 19. jarrylf
Which one, the first or the second? Lawd Jesus I hope that was sarcasim cause any answer but the 1st answer will make me do a deep eye roll lol. For real tho, mariah is the Queen of Christmas, I'm shocked/disapointed she hasnt done a classic/oldschool Christmas variety show, I love that stuff, The Carpenters special is soooo corney but the music is sooooo good. But tho her Christmas album is my fave whole Christmas album, theres alot of versions of certain songs that can't be duplicated/touched by anyone, even her, and I feel like All I Want For Christmas is true for her, but I've never heard a version of Do You Hear What I Hear or Joy To The World better than Whitney Houston's versions. Or in my opinion a verion of Winter Wonderland better than Arethas, or Jingle Bell Rock better than Bobby Elms. So with that being said I'll always have to mix it up, and have yet to be able to rely on 1 album to slay all the christmas songs. Im lookin for 1 tho. Now Selz you head on ova to the TJN page and check out our new video
bu.
According to PRS for Music Mariah's All I Want is one of the best Christmas songs ever. It's at #2 behind Fairytale of New York . I think it's judged by airplay from the past 8 years.

She had plans to make a Christmas play for MCIIY. Hopefully it's still in the works.
