Janet is barely doing it. All of her generation all singing live these days. Even the nonsingers like Ciara and Rihanna. She trying to come for Britney. She does exactly what Janet does. Keeps her mic on and talks throught out and ad libs here and there. She makes out she sings live completely from start to finish, which is a total lie. You can see it in her concert footage. It's obvious. Even the grammies, there were times when her mic was no where near her and there was vocals being heard, and with no interference from dancing. lol. Hun, check out Rihanna's performance of the brits. That ain't 'live' singing, as its meant to be. She is totally singing with a back up track. Well yeah, of course she'd say that. The only thing she CAN do is sing. Similarly, the same argument can be made about Gaga and her ridiculousness of using excess props and costumes to mask the fact that she's a mediocre singer, a terrible dancer, and lacks stage presence and stage command.
