It's also an ethical issue if he was doing it while at work, which several women have confirmed. How many of you would get to keep your job if you were having phone sex on the company phone? He's already a national laughing stock - forget just the Hill! If any of it took place while he was on the job (which he denied, but who the hell knows), or with minors, he'll absolutely have to resign. Andrew Breitbart has been saying that he has even more damaging pictures/information about Weiner, so I guess we'll have to wait and see. There's nothing about posting a picture of one's junk (especially one's covered up junk) that disqualifies someone from being a congressman. Gary Condit didn't give up his congressional seat after it was revealed that he had an affair with Chandra Levy (among others), which he lied about at first, and was also a suspect (though not officially) in her murder. Gov. Sanford of South Carolina didn't resign after he disappeared and ran off with his mistress to Argentina and caused a big kerfuffle. On the other hand, you have someone like Eliot Spitzer, who did have to resign as governor of New York after his sex scandal - but mostly because he was using prostitutes and, thus, actually doing something illegal.
