janetDAYZ
A group of scientist have found a way to record and playback memories. They've developed brain implants that can back memories similar to the use of a hard drive in a computer. They've started their experiments with the use of lab rats, whom were given drugs to erase their memories of how to quench their thirst and had to hit a lever to obtain water. During this process the implants recorded the impulses in the brain. once their memories were erased the implants were then activated to allow the rats to replicate the same behaviour. No word on if and when human testing will be conducted; but primemates will be next in line http://www.vladtv.com/blog/51217/scientists-have-found-a-way-to-record-your-memories/

Rock & Roll Hall of Game
rats do not equal humans, however will we reach this point within our lives The neocortical column is the most recently evolved part of our brain and is responsible for such things as reasoning and self-awareness. It was a quantum leap in evolution. The human brain contains a thousand times more neocortical columns than a rat's brain, but there is very little difference, biologically speaking, between a rat's brain and our own. Build one column, and you can effectively build the entire neocortex - if you have the computational power. http://www.guardian.co.uk/technology/2007/dec/20/research.it #readpeople
