As Paris tonight clarified, she earlier rushed to end Twitter talk that Mother is ill TODAY, but Paris didn't expose any "lie" as @TMZ claim

Jermaine Jackson ‏@jermjackson5

The truth is that Mother DID suffer a mini-stroke some months ago. She is fine now, but the timeline doesn't alter the fact it happened

Sadly, TMZ reflects a rush to judgment on Twitter that grasps at face-value information...and truth and context suffer

Over this, I'm reserving my judgement until all the statements and facts roll in. I have my hypotheses but again, reserved. However, I don't think the "today" bit even factors in. I'm pretty sure Paris didn't mean "today" when she spoke in her earlier tweets despite her apology tweets, I see some adult interference there.

Someone does need to have a talk with her about discretion and being wiser about what she does and doesn't say, but to be honest I am glad she spoke up for Katherine because as we saw all hell broke loose with the fans hearing she had a mini-stroke. Paris stays at the house so shouldn't she know? And if the mini-stroke happened months ago, why is this surfacing now? Surely they'd have the ammunition they needed then?

Excuse the questions, my curiosity made me ramble.

Alan Duke talked to Katherine and said there is a "complex family dynamic" going on and that the kids will have to sort it out for themselves based on what their father taught them. Apparently Rebbie, Janet and Randy took Katherine on vacation starting Sunday. They're not allowing Paris or any of the kids to speak to her and of course when the letter was public it terrified Paris plus Paris has been closest to Katherine in the last few years and so she wanted to call in to talk to her grandmother. They said no. According to Alan, everyone he's talked to has said Katherine never had a mini-stroke.

Numerous errors: Tito's name spelled wrong, Randy's real name isn't used, and Katherine never had a stroke. Curiosities as to who wrote it, why they did, also when and if Janet even signed it at all.

It's also pointless to contest the will now. Past the date. The going against AEG suit, which Randy brought up to Katherine, is also falling through.

this is why a 14 year old shouldn't be on twitter

:clapping:

This is family, so why is she addressing them on a public level where it will be picked apart and become gossip? She should know better. Homegirl needs to work on her diploma, talk to her family, and quit the foolishness.

Just to ask, what about the letter being published publicly and sent to the tabloids first at that? I mean I can see it both ways. Ask for privacy but make the letter public to the tabloids? Randy's doing, no doubt, since it was one he goes to often.

she doesn't know better... she doesn't know how harsh the people can get... but she will learn.. and she will learn FAST...

Well I guess that new info can come to light that changes people's mind......this doesn't look good though

What new info has done/could do that, though? I mean, the debts Michael owed were cleared by the Estate, they upped Katherine's allowance per month, the shows like Immortal and the Motown play/musical etc. are doing INCREDIBLY well, they retaliated against much of the b.s. surrounding Murray like that documentary that was going to be shown, plus with Bad 25 coming up and how much good promotion coming, I really don't see the problem here. The Estate seems to be doing a good job so I don't know. There could be something private going on, possibly, but I don't really know what it could be.

Good points, I don't get why Janet would put her name to this though......unless they have facts to back this up then it's kinda slanderous.

Not sure about radar online, why?

Makes me wonder what some of the brothers have been telling her, and Rebbie, too, this whole time.

This is why:

Katherine Jackson 'Blindsided' By Her Children's Letter To Michael Jackson's Executors

Katherine Jackson was blindsided by news a letter had been written by several of her children to the executors of Michael Jackson's estate, demanding their resignation, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

As we previously reported, several media outlets obtained a letter allegedly from Janet, Rebie, Tito, Randy, and Jermaine Jackson demanding that the Jackson Estate executors John Branca and John McClain resign immediately because they (the Jackson siblings) believe that the late singer's will was a fake. This comes after three failed legal challenges in the matter already. The letter also alleged that Katherine Jackson was in bad health and had recently suffered a mini-stroke. Katherine's lawyer told CNN she is in good health and did not suffer a mini-stroke.

Katherine "had absolutely NO idea that her children had written to the executors of Michael's estate. Katherine was extremely upset because this isn't something that she would ever authorize or support, period. Katherine has no issues with the executors, and she is satisfied with the work that John Branca and John McClain are doing. Katherine is extremely upset with her children for writing the letter, and is extremely disappointed that the letter was made public," a source close to the matriarch of the Jackson family tells us.

On Wednesday, Michael Jackson's daughter, Paris, put her aunts and uncles on notice and said on Twitter that she will, "defend my beloved family member with all I have, even if it means from other family members. I am going to clarify right now that what has been said about my grandmother is a rumor and nothing has happened, she is completely fine. I will defend my beloved family member with all I have, even if it means from other family members."

According to our sources, the letter was written because "the wrongful death lawsuit that Katherine Jackson was pressured into filing against AEG for the wrongful death of Michael is turning into a disaster. Katherine has been deposed, and it was a grueling process, and it's very taxing on her. The Jackson siblings wrote this letter, even though there have been three failed challenges of the will, and the statute of limitations to contest the will has expired to try and get money from Michael's estate. Make no mistake, this is all about money. There is a very good reason why Michael intentionally left his siblings and his father out of the will. Michael's will was very clear, and the beneficiaries are his three children and Katherine. Period. End of story. The Jackson siblings have no legal recourse as far as the will is considered and the person responsible for Michael's death is behind bars, Dr. Conrad Murray," the insider revealed.

At the time of Michael Jackson's death he was over $500 million dollars in debt. Recent court documents filed by the executors state that the estate has a gross earnings of $475 million dollars, and the outstanding debt will soon be whittled down to nothing in the very near future. "Michael Jackson's legacy and the financial legacy has been single-handedly resurrected by John Branca and John McClain, and the lucrative deals they have made for the estate. Many people said that Michael was naive when it came to business, yes, he spent money he didn't have, but the smartest thing he ever did, besides buying the Beatle's record catalogue, was to appoint John Branca and John McClain as the executors. Michael trusted those two men and respected them as human beings. He knew they would always do the right thing, and they have. They have carried out his wishes to the letter,' the source said.

Katherine has requested "increases in her monthly allowance for expenses, and the Estate has never opposed that, and it has always been granted. The only thing Katherine's children are doing now is causing her more stress than she needs. Katherine has an excellent lawyer who looks out for her best interests," the insider stated.

Whenever the executors are about to sign a new contract on behalf of the estate, "the lawyers submit it to the judge for his review. Almost all of the deals are approved by the judge, even though the Estate often isn't required to get approval. There has been absolute transparency in all of the business deals that the executors have made, as well as the debts that have been paid off," the source said.

Wow.........But as I understand it even if this will was found to be fraudulent the prior will STILL left them nothing so I don't see why they are doing this.

Janet seems very close to Randy. If he and the others are feeding a particular story to her then I'm sure she would believe it which is why she signed. Janet is usually too busy to be looking into this stuff herself so I'm sure she goes by what the others say. You would think she would have her lawyer look over it first though.

Right. The '97 will is still practically identical to the 2002. What do they want, though? For this to be in the hands of the state of California? That'll be even worse.

Very true. She has to know of all the news going around, at least some wind of it, so the question remains: what side are they telling her? Hopefully she had a lawyer that and there are some facts to back it up, otherwise, they could find themselves on the grounds of a lawsuit from the Executors, but I doubt one would be followed on. Not with Katherine there.

"Paris Jackson, 14, is right in her Tweets (see the accompanying item next). Sources tell me her grandmother, Katherine Jackson, has not had any kind of stroke. But a war is raging within the Jackson family concerning the wrongful death lawsuit against AEG Live. Depositions are being taken now, and the AEG lawyers are apparently being very aggressive with the family.

“Mrs. Jackson would probably like to call the whole thing off,” says my source. “But the kids are desperate. They see it slipping away from them.” Janet Jackson, I’m told, was pressured into signing a very vitriolic letter sent to Michael’s executors. “The whole thing is really Jermaine and Randy,” says my source.

What’s happened now is that the letter (see the previous item) has caused a rift between the siblings who signed it–Randy, Jermaine, Rebbie, Janet and Tito–and the people who live in Katherine Jackson’s home–Michael’s kids. Paris Jackson Tweeted that her uncle Randy was a “liar” according to reports. Randy responded on his Twitter feed: “The letter is authentic.” And: “We ask that everyone respects that this is a serious matter that will be handled by the proper authorities.”

But Randy and Jermaine — whose children are cousins and half-siblings to each other–may have made a very risky mistake here. In the process of trying to overturn Michael’s will, or get part of a settlement from AEG Live, they’ve alienated Michael’s children if they’ve lied about their mother’s health. There will be no going back from that.

The lawsuit against AEGLive contends that the company shouldn’t have hired Dr. Conrad Murray, and that they’re somehow responsible for his negligence. In fact, it was Michael who insisted that AEGLive hire Murray, who didn’t work long enough even to get paid.

Meanwhile, Janet Jackson reportedly told Prevention magazine that she’s lectured Paris about being part of a planned animated movie. Janet needn’t worry. So far, the movie that was announced has no funding. There are no plans for it go forward."
