Diamond Life, VERY strong debut, I love it from start to finish pretty much, there are some filler choices but it's overall pretty good. And GREAT single choices, her singles are all my faves from this album (Smooth Operator, Your Love Is King,& Hang On To Your Love) Promise is just............WOW. specifically Is It A Crime, 1 of my fave songs she's ever recorded and released. Her voice...that music, just sooo smooth and sexy. Ofcourse I love The Sweetest Taboo, but I also love Maureen and Fear and those are specifically my faves from that 1 really nice followup Stronger than Pride took it to another level way higher than the 1st 2 albums. The Song Stronger than Pride is just sooo smooth. BUT...MA Jam........PARADISE, WHO DON'T LOVE THAT SONG!?!?!?! I live from that song lol. I also really love Keep looking (LOVES IT), nothing Can Come Between Us, Clean Heart, and I Never Thought i'd see the day Love Deluxe took it even higher than STP, because NO ORDINARY LOVE AND KISS OF LIFE SLAYSSS, Kiss Of Life gives me fuckin life lol, I also like Feel No Pain, Cherish The Day (so sexy),Pearls, Mermaid, and I couldn't love you more. I was disapointed by Lovers Rock, good album but completely forgettable. I do like King Of Sorrow, Imigrant, and Slave song but as a whole the album is inferior to it's 2 preceding albums. Soldier Of Love was right on the money, this is ma Sade, I LOVE Soldier of love, I'm not a huge fan of Babyfather, but I do love The Moon and the sky, and Skin. From her ultimate Collection I love Still In Love With You, Love Is Found, and I would Have Never Guessed. I haven't yet dug deeper into the albums because I'm torn in so many different directions lol. They have a distinctive sound; they never chased after trends and always stayed true to themselves. And Sade Adu's contralto is distinctive as well, and she seems like such a really classy lady. "No Ordinary Love" is my very favorite song - her voice, the guitars, it all comes together so brilliantly. That song takes me places. I've watched most of their music videos too... I especially liked the two-part story between "Sweetest Taboo" and "Is It A Crime." Utopia Posted August 20, 2012 Share Posted August 20, 2012 OMg i love them all but my favs are Love Deluxe, Lovers Rock and Soldier Of Love Weird cuz i never thought that she was going to top Stronger Than Pride to me and than BAM she releases 3 albums that slayed my soul One of the few artists that make me jump off my seat just by reading her name somewhere this makes me want to see her live SOOO BAD Her voice takes me too such deep and distant places Her discography is impeccable and flaw free.
