Our future Queen faces embarrassment today after the revealing pictures of her taken as she and Prince William enjoyed a private sunshine holiday this month were printed.

Kate and Wills thought they would not be photographed as they stayed at the magnificent Chateau D’Autet in Provence, owned by a nephew of the Queen.

But France’s Closer mag obtained images of the pair, now in Malaysia as part of the Diamond Jubilee tour, by the swimming pool – including snaps of Kate, 30, half naked.

that's fake dry.gifpinch988.gif Janet never said a word about it :lmao:

:lmao:! If it was her home she would have sued tbh .

As for Kate - I admit as she's famous she should know better but I guess it'll blow over . Papz have lenses that can see for a mile, she should know this in her position but that doesn't give them the right to snap away when someone is on private property...does it?

Lawyers for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are pursuing two separate routes in French law: civil and criminal.

The civil case is being heard on Monday afternoon by a judge in the Paris suburb of Nanterre.

Citing Article 9 of the French Civil Code, lawyers will seek an injunction barring future publication - online or in print - by the magazine Closer of the topless photographs of the duchess.

In theory they could also push for existing copies of the magazine to be withdrawn from sales points, but this is most unlikely.

At this point in civil proceedings, many French personalities who feel that their right to privacy has been breached also push for financial damages. And normally the judge will order a sum of money to be paid, based on an assessment of the hurt caused.

But this, it appears, is not the path chosen by the Royal Family.

Instead, lawyers for the duke and duchess are going on the offensive and seeking a conviction in the criminal courts. This is an unusual step in the French system, where most aggrieved parties are content with the damages awarded by the civil courts.

In theory, the couple could also seek damages at a later criminal trial. However, it may well be that their aim is to establish a principle, and so have little interest in financial compensation.

Their lawyers have now filed their case with the prosecutor's office, citing unnamed individuals or companies as having "deliberately infringed the private life of another".

Under Article 226-1 of the French Criminal Code, the punishment for this can go up to a fine of 45,000 euros (£36,400) - or five times that for a company - and a year in jail.

Legal experts here say it is an open-and-shut case. Under French law, a criminal (as opposed to a civil) offence is committed if the person photographed was in a "private place" - and that is clearly the case here.

The prosecutor's office will now open an investigation, with police mandated to assemble evidence. One legal difficulty may be identifying the photographer, whose name the magazine will probably refuse to release, citing the right to protect its sources.

well of course it is... but as a celebrity... you need to cover yourself up at 98% of the time... unless you want your privates all over the internet

there's a even bigger issue though what about all the girls and guys who are young now that get on webcam, do anything to make a quick buck and show the goods, its like you do realize someday someone will say hey isn't that the dude from "biggest cum facial" I think maybe someday it will become second nature to where we don't care because its not that big a deal when so many people have done it.

the only people who care about this are the oldies...

People grow up with nudity, sex and porn.... there is no taboo anymore... It's a good thing for kids getting curious, fuck and have babies... cause they're not that curious anymore, but it's bad for the excitement and magic of it, cause that's gone too...

I read they wanna throw the people responsible for the pics in jail... What the hell makes them any different from anyone else? If you don't want your tits published, keep them wrapped...
