Honestly, all this touring, festivals and residency are starting to make sense now. Janet and her team definitely are trying to rebuild her status as a performer/touring act who’s reliable. It would make sense to keep her in the headlines and build by up her immense credibility in case an album and official world tour are to announced in late 2019/2020. Just a theory! I feel like they, especially she wants a possible next era to be HUGE!

I have to agree with the user formerly known as “Voodoo”, at one point during “Miss You Much”, Janet was walking up those stairs like she was ready for bed! I have never seen THAT before. Now as for the sound issues, the funny thing is when u can hear her, her vocals were on point af (“Black Cat” no withstanding! B!tch! ) But her mic checking got annoying to the point she was paying it more attention than the crowd so now I understand why. She starts the show out with her usual AMAZING energy. “Trust A Try” and “If” were a great one-two punch of EPIC entrance!!! Then from there, the show went up and down. “WHYDFML”.....I have NEVER seen such laziness on Janet’s part! Just jamming there with her band when her dancers should have stayed. I was like “Janet, now’s not the time to slow it down, your act just started!” The huge crowd was actually REALLY into her at times, chanting her name early on n singing along to most of her 80s-90s classics....yet “All For You”, possibly her second greatest international hit got NOTHING!!!? What?!? Even “Made For Now” got more of a reception! Now that we’re on that subject I’m am so sick of how she performs her latest single. Always the same routine presented the same way when it should be more vibrant and colorful! Darth Janet and her Rhythm Storm Troopers are not the tea for such a jubilant song. Jesus and she just doesn’t hit that second breakdown like you know she can. Oh well.... Also, the setlist for this tho?!? Random, sloppy, all over the place! I mean I get taking a shortened version of your Vegas show for a large festival since you have a little over 45 min but my god, this wasn’t a great presentation of her classic hits and deep cuts. Just next track to next track without any build, just “Ya’ll know this one?!” Also, the sound issues got so annoying that at one point when Janet said “I can’t hear you!” I was like “B!tch, we can’t hear you! Now’s not the time to test your mic, Ms. Jackson!” At least “Rhythm Nation” ended things strong! I just thought it was funny how hard she yelled “HO!” before the song started like she was told “Janet, they still can’t hear you?” “HO!!!!” “Did you hear that in the control room?!?” “With music by our sides...” Ehhh, I give it a 7 out of 10 too! Now I must reflect on what I have just said on this lord’s day!

Looks like she killed it to me given that heavy ass Vader outfit and 90 degree weather!!! Ya’ll need to give these last living legends a break! You have Mariah barely carrying a tune anymore, Madonna giving performances that lack any form of entertainment anymore yet Janet can STILL dance her ass off at 53 but we give her a hard time because we expect more. They are all past their prime but STILL doing their thang to the best of their ability. They have nothing else to prove and are doing it for the sake of their desperate need to continue their art or entertain their fans. Be. Grateful??? Besides “Caution” and “Madame X” turned out to be MUCH better than expected and garnered them their best reviews in ages. Better than most female pop stars of this generation. At least Janet can put on a show! Lizzo is the only one giving me life these days! ✌

Well, at least she showed up!!! Now the Euro fans can start to pipe the f#@# down!!!

Honestly, sound issues are one thing but it sounds outside of that, the show was impressive and Janet killed it as usual, so honestly I don’t think this will create long lasting bad press for her in Europe. More the crowd weren’t a fan of her music and performance because of it. Meh! No worries really!

Ok good press now.... Honestly, if Janet is preparing for a new album/world tour in the future, she can’t afford bad press in Europe, especially since she n her new team are trying so hard to build back up her credibility and reliability as a touring artist.

At this point, a follow-up to “Unbreakable”, may or may not be happening ! This all seems to be getting her noticed in the press since she’ll be in Glastonbury this month.

Now THIS should have been the Sunday Times interview!!! The head of BBC better hope Janet sees this and thinks about it!!!

Negatory!!! Madonna has had a #1 album in the 80s, 2000s, 2010s but NOT the 90s. She will be officially the second female artist with most #1 albums in the US tho; Barbara being the first. Only Janet, Barbara and Bruce hold that title for the 80s-2010s. Barbara leading by 2 decades more tho (60s-2010s). I can see Janet coming in second for most #1 albums in consecutive decades (80s-2020s) in the next couple of years. But who knows, just wishful thinking at this point.

Well it seems that’s what her team are trying to do my updating her channel with remastered HD as well as completing her entire videography on her channel as well. Even Apple Music seems to be doing an overhaul by adding more music videos to her account!

I know. I meant her follow-up album to “25”.

Seriously, I have listened to this album about 5-6 times and I’m completely in F$&@ING LOVE!!!! This is officially the Madonna album we’ve been waiting for since “Confessions...” I cant believe she was still able to relieved at this stage of her career! It’s like Janet with “Unbreakable”, so unprecedented and worth the run of mediocrity we’ve gotten this past 11 years! Mind you, I gave “Rebel Heart” a pass because I felt her days of innovation, creativity and musical ambition had ended and she was doing this all business and while Madame X IS, the production and music itself holds up beyond anything we’ve expected! Such passion, meaning and effort put into this one to create the kind of boundary pushing art she has ALWAYS been known for. Yeah, there are obvious flaws like any other album but to pros outweighs the cons by 1,000s!!! Easily in my top 5-6 albums of her discography!!! She STILL has it when she has something to say for sure!!!

Seriously “God Control” is like “Like A Prayer” meets “Confessions....” Haunting, chilling, A BOP!!! I love how bizarre and abstract the song is ala “This Is America”, but sooooo much meaning within, it’s INSANE!!! ”Bitch I’m Loco” is hilarious in only a way Madonna could deliver and SHOULD have been the lead! “Batuka”....unprecedented cultural brilliance!!! Faz Gostoso WOW!!! “Come Alive”....JESUS!!! “I Dont Search I Find”.....WHAT?!? Just leave my body behind please!!!
