I relate to everything you wrote. There's a lot of complications that come along with this and we know Janet isn't willing to share every detail. She probably wanted to wait until she was sure.

I'm absolutely happy for Janet. It's just a shame that the silence, postponements, and cancellations have occurred, because a lot of people don't seem to be happy to hear this news. All they're concerned about are the shows being canceled or a music video and all they can bring up are low ticket sales. There's more to life than concerts and I'm sorry that you didn't get to see the tour (I SINCERELY have faith that she'll be on stage again down the road) or the promo that you wanted, but how much more do you want from Janet? She's given us a lot. It hasn't been perfect in the last decade, but I'm always going to have love for her and wish her the best in health and happiness, which comes first before her career.

The production team for this song DRUGS are the ones that produced her earlier stuff. I like what she's done with Stargate and The Invisible Men, but this production team works really well with her.

I really like Jordan Knight's I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man. I love TLC, Melisa Morgan, and Sinead's covers. Special mention goes out to Fantasia and Leeann Rimes' covers of Purple Rain. I saw Fantasia do it live a few years ago and cried.

I was in NYC back in 2011 for the UCAP Tour. I got to spend a week there and meet a lot of fans, go to a JanetFam dinner, and hang out at the book signing (I didn't go inside and get an autograph, but I got to see her exit and stand out of the car and wave to us). After the third show, I hung by the buses and got to speak to the dancers. A black car pulled up next to me and a fan yells "That's Janet, it's her car!". I recognized the car, but I wasn't sure, so I said "That's not Janet! But if it is Janet, I love you and thank you for making The Velvet Rope!" The window rolled down, I saw Janet's eyes and froze. She smiled at me and I remember touching her hand and I was QUIET, but then all of the fans screamed once they saw her and jumped on the car, so they sped off.
