The best part was the rerecorded 1st verse ~ actually even better than the original verse 1. FM was the weakest link; I'd readily trade JB in for a rerecorded verse 2; TI was ok.

Yeah, D'Angelo would be a good as well! I enjoyed just about all the collabs on the last album, though it would've been nice if Stevie had a singing part! It also lists "produce something iconic," so that should rule out unknown millionaires wanting a star just because they feel like it lol -$30K from $500M is hardly a financial setback anyway

(Hi I don't like creating new threads lol ~ this can be the Poetic Justice appreciation thread ) So today I just put the DVD in for what feels like ages since last time ~ the film's just as awesome as it ever was! In fact I enjoyed it even more than my last viewing. I guess being a little older, I connect more with it now ... just the theme of getting your life on the right track. I also paid more attention to the scenes because the first few viewings I was in "OMGRRD!JANET!" mode the whole time. She was really good as Justice. "You kick my cat, I'ma kick your @$%" is still my favorite quote too!

Yeah the first Beaver collab was one of the rare times I didn't play an MC song past 3 times lol. I wish she had Maxwell or even Miguel again. At least it won't be for her album I have to work on the 5th. Would love to go tho!
