He endorsed Donald Trump for president in the 2016 elections.During promotion for his upcoming film Our Brand is Crisis, Mackie, most known for his role as the Falcon in Captain America: The Winter Soldier and a member of the new Avengers team, enthusiastically told BET he would "100 % want to run Trump's campaign." Cue our love of Mackie shattering. He continued: "When you look at Trump, he's an easy sell because you can sell him as the guy who worked his way up from nothing."Okay...then.But we're not the only ones who were broken by his declaration. Black Twitter (and Marvel Twitter, and just Twitter in general) immediately hopped on the news and were quick to denounce their former favorite rising star. Guess we're going to be on Team Iron Man now.
